Chapter 28: What Troll?
Entering the Girl's Bathroom on the first floor, was a Twelve feet tall creature, its skin was a dull, granite gray, its great lumpy body like a boulder with its small bald head perched on top like a coconut. A foul stench reached his Nostrils, a mixture of old socks and the kind of public toilet no one seems to clean. This thing was disgusting.
"A Mountain Troll? What is it doing here?" cried Daphne in fear as she recognized what kind of creature entered the Bathroom.
"We are dead. It's blocking the exit." Shivered Tracey, "Not only are they very strong. The Skin of Mountain Trolls has a high resistance to magic, it takes a strong Wizard to take one out. We don't know any magic that would even slightly harm it."
Harry changed instantly into combat mode, although he regularly sparred with the other Peerage Members and his Teacher MacGregor, this was still his first real Life and Death battle. Pulling the three girls behind him, "Stay behind me. I will handle this."
"Don't be an Idiot. There is no time for stupid heroics." Berated Daphne him as they watched the Troll spot, "Our only chance is to make a run for it."
"Calm down! I will handle that." Said Harry not bothered by her outburst, stepping into the way of the Troll. Harry rushed forward, quickly dodging a strike from the Trolls Club. Forming a quick two magic Circle shooting one with wind magic enhanced fireball towards the ugly creature's face, setting it on fire.
The Trolls head kept burning for a few seconds, but the fire quickly disappeared with only slight signs of damage. 'Hmm, it has a decent resistance to magic. Its strength is higher than someone average enhanced by a Rook Piece. But it's much slower than them.' He analyzed as the enraged Troll swung his wooden club down on him, Harry blocked it with a quick cast barrier spell as he gouged its strength. 'Better I keep dodging, blocking it in this way would be a waste of demonic Power. How to take it out?'
He would love to capture it inside his Sacred Gear, that way he would have a new creature inside. But in order to pull it in he needed to be physically strong enough, right now there was no way he could just pull it in, so he had to knock it out first.
'Maybe this will be strong enough if I enhance it and use multicast?' he wondered as he formed five magic circles above his palm. Channeling the poisonous power of the creatures and plants inside his Sacred Gear, into the Spells, as he shouted, "Petrificus Totalus!"
Five Green projectiles hit the Troll right in its chest, as it stiffened up and its whole body gained a green tint. The Troll fell paralyzed onto the Ground. 'It worked!' thought Harry with a grin.
"H-how? No way is the body-binding Spell strong enough to work on a Troll. Not even Dumbledore could take a troll out with this Spell. And why were there five projectiles?" Asked Daphne from behind him as she watched the paralyzed Troll on the floor with wide eyes.
"Later! I want to capture the Troll. If someone asks, we never met the Troll." Said Harry quickly as he heard steps from outside approaching them with his sharp ears. He approached the Troll and now that it couldn't resist he was able to pull it inside of Innovate Clear, on one of the empty Islands he created if he ever should need them.
The Girls watched the Troll disappear with shocked eyes before the door to the Bathroom flew open and Professor McGonagall had come bursting into the room, closely followed by Snape, with Quirell bringing up the rear.
Confused all three Teachers were looking around the Bathroom, since the Wards alarmed them the Troll had to be here. During his battle with the Troll, there was no damage to the environment since all the hits targeted him, the only one that would have shattered the ground was directly tanked by Harry with a Barrier Spell.
Professor McGonagall was looking at the four students, "Where is the Troll?" she asked unsure of what was going on.
"What Troll Professor?" asked Harry with played confusion on his face taking the lead in this discussion, he absolutely wanted that Troll since he had a few ideas he wanted to try, without having to reveal his Sacred Gear to People he didn't trust. He learned enough about Daphne, Hermione, and Tracey that he knew they wouldn't reveal this Secret if he requested them.
Well, he was one hundred percent sure about Daphne and Tracey since he learned about something called Family magic, it would be a very heavy insult towards another Family in pure blood circles, usually resulting in a blood feud. While Hermione was a bit heavily obedient to the Teachers, but after saving her he was also quite sure she wouldn't reveal anything.
"A Troll entered the Castle, and the Wards indicated that he was here somewhere." She explained with a stern look, "Why are you not with the members of your House? What are you doing here alone without company?"
"We weren't at the feast since one of the members of your House, Ronald Weasley to be specific, bullied Hermione after our Charms Lessons when she tried to help him with the Levitation Charm. We stayed with her to support her. I wasn't aware that the Rules said we needed a Teacher to move through the Castle." Explained Harry with a smile.
"Cut your cheek, Potter. 15 Points from Gryffindor, you are as arrogant as your Father." Cut Snape angered in as he stared into Harry's eyes. At this moment Harry felt something enter his mind and quickly looked away from the Potions Master.
'That ass tried to read my Mind. So Wizards do have Mind Magic, that could be very useful.' Thought Harry as he realized all the Possibilities, 'What immortality? What regeneration? I just have to break your Mind Riser Phenex. And Snape seems to have a problem with my dead Father, how mature. I am not even in Gryffindor.'
"You do realize that I am not part of Gryffindor Professor? And what cheek, I just stated facts. We are students, not Prisoners, we are allowed to move freely through the Castle before Curfew. There is no rule saying that we need to attend the feast. I didn't feel like it, either way, today, if you didn't realize, today is the Day my parents died. So don't Project your problems with my dead Father on me, Professor. That is highly unprofessional." Summarized Harry coldly with fury in his eyes.
"We are leaving guys." He said to the Girls as he pulled the girls out of the Bathroom, "If you should have any proof for your accusations or whatever you are trying here, you can approach Professor Flitwick first since he is our Head of House, and the Headmaster too, please. What you probably won't do since you have only Groundless accusations to bully your Students. Remember that Professor Snape, I won't let myself be bullied by you. Should you try it again, I will register official Complains with the Headmaster. Should he ignore that, I will take legal action."
Said Harry coldly as he began to leave followed by the dazed girls, and the shocked looks of the Teachers who couldn't understand what just happened here, "Since there clearly is no 'Troll' here. We are heading back to our Common Room. Good Night Professors."
"POTTER! How dare you!" shouted Snape enraged while the Boy just ignored him and kept walking.
"Stop it, Severus! Mr. Potter is right your behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They didn't do anything wrong here. Keep looking for the Troll with Quirinus. Meanwhile, I will make sure that the Students arrive safely at their Common Room." Said Professor McGonagall as she hurried behind the four Students.
"Grrr." Growled Snape before he coldly turned around, and he continued his search for the missing Troll, followed by the Professor with the Turban who looked for a moment calculative at the back of the Students. As he wondered where the hell his Troll was, he clearly imperiused it to head to this Bathroom. This was such a perfect opportunity to take care of Potter and harm Dumbledore's name permanently with the death of multiple Students.
