Ch.2 Reborn as...

One year after the start of World War 2 an egg that looked alien in origin appeared inside a random forest no animal knew how it appeared but knew enough to stay away from it. Inside this egg was a face-hugger containing an unconscious jack as a larvae egg and not far away from this egg was a hunting group unwittingly heading towards this egg.

POV: Random old hunter number one

"Hey Bill you sure there are deer in this forest we need to provide for our families here the war isn't making it, easier" said the elderly looking man to another similarly decrepit and old man named bill

"Joe in the thirty years I've known ya I never once misled you just follow me and we will even be able to provide for your grandchildren" he had a point and joe couldn't argue with that

"Can you two shush you guys are scaring all the animals away I can't even see a damn insect around here"

"yeah yeah got it, Pete, no need to get your panties in a twist" bill, of course, says this hoping it would get a reaction out of Pete and of course it would work on the old geezer Pete as he probably has some serious anger issues

"damn it BILL!"

and with that Joe proceeded to look at the one idiot chasing another inside a dark forest and what they didn't know was that all their noise made a certain egg pop open as it heard a suitable host.

POV change:face-hugger

As the face-hugger leaps out of its confinement, it looks around for whatever activated the egg and it finds three suitable weak humans to latch unto using its thermal vision and it just so happens there is only one human not running at full speed so it decides its host and jumps unto the unsuspecting Pete and latches unto his face suppressing his horrified screams not alerting his friends to his situation. As the face-hugger latches on securely to ensure nothing can prevent it from planting the larvae down the host's throat and it does just that. The face-hugger fulfilling half of its purpose pumps its air-sacks and provides oxygen so the host does not die of the lack of it as it prepares to deliver the larvae down the host's throat

POV change: Bill

'Hmm by now the oh-so responsible Joe should have stopped us from their shenanigans' as bill turns around to find joe with his eyes he spots the Joe on the ground with some scorpion latched unto his face.

"WAIT!"

"What too tired to run anymore Bill? Is age catching up to you?"

"No Pete stop joking something happened to joe!" as Pete decides to believe me against his better judgement as he believes it to be a trick he sees their friend Joe on the ground unmoving with some creature attached to his face

"What in the lord is that Bill"

"I have no clue lets try and get it off and see if Joes alright" as we get closer to the creature we see it pumping some bulbous sacks on the sides of its body and it's not clear what it does.

"Ok, Pete we need to remove this thing from him" as we get closer I pull out my hunting knife hoping to remove this creature's legs but when I do cut it off something green spills out of the cut appendage splashing it unto joes faces and my hand it burns like I have not ever experienced before and right in front of my eyes I see this liquid burn right through my fingers, and knife. What I didn't notice is how the bug got off of Joe's former face as it looked like it had melted it spits acid at me and that's when I pass out seeing only black as I head towards unconsciousness not knowing my fate.

POV change face-hugger:

Noticing its current host being tampered with and its life signs diminishing from its acid blood melting its vitals it looks at the perpetrators following instinct it shoots to kill one using its acidic spit while using the other as a host by jumping unto its face shortly and with that the birth of our Main character has begun.
