~MC POV
It has been several days now, me and Ophis are still fighting. HAHAHAHA, THIS IS SO FUN! I can't believe how satisfying watching her spiral through the air as I punch her feels and given the massive grin on her face and the fact that her eyes always light up whenever she lands a blow, I guess she feels the same way.
We are evenly matched, at first I wasn't a good fighter, although I became a white tiger which are good hunters but I had yet to get used to it. Now though after fighting for several days without stop, I can safely say I'm confident in my martial arts.
Ophis also hasn't been slacking, she was like me, perhaps even worse since she embodies nothingness so she absolutely had no idea how to fight, besides just throwing random kicks and fists here and there.
But just as I improved over the days so has she, she now knows how to properly fight and it is quite satisfying since I can go all out with her and she won't die. And I can improve even more.
I found out I enjoy fighting, the pure bliss I feel when our fists connect, the satisfaction of my fist landing squarely on her jaw and if I couldn't control my instincts I might just ravage her.
But Ophis, is amazing and that's a understatement. She soaks everything up like a sponge. Every time I use a move, like a hook or a roundhouse kick, I cannot use it again because she learns from her mistakes.
She improves after every clash, every time she punches, she learns from it and improves, angling her fist at a certain point making her faster and sharper, her energy manipulation is also becoming more precise, allowing her to have better accuracy and faster release time.
Space has also caved in a few times, every time a black hole would come Ophis would gobble it up, slowly getting stronger each meal she has, and improving her mental state ever so slightly. I am quite jealous she can get strong easy.
I just hope when we're done fighting we can become good friends and perhaps over time a little more? Hehe that's for another time tho.
~Ophis POV
Its like a game! Every time I punch him hard enough, I'm rewarded with yummy candy. Though for some reason I find the stupid cat enjoying this to much. The word 'masochist' comes to mind, I wonder what that means? Food?
Strong! That's what I managed to figure out by now. It literally hit me in the face at some point… was that a joke? For some reason knowing that he is even or perhaps slightly stronger then me really irritates me.
I have a weird feeling in my chest, that screams for me to improve, to not let the stupid cat beat me. To be better, punch harder, kick faster. I'm learning.
That's what I already learned. I don't know why though? Sure, he's annoying and stupid in his car form but I have no reason to feel this way other then the fact that he woke me up.
Is it pride? Or maybe rivalry?… Both? Maybe the cat race is rival to dragons and my pride wont allow me to lose.
The black yummy's help. Every time I punch hard enough and get my reward, I feel myself getting pulled towards it, like it's calling me… so I eat it and feel better. Unfortunately, I don't get enough rewards which is why I'm trying hard to improve.
I rushed back to his, dodging a kick that would hit my side by jumping over it and then trying to land an axe kick to his head.
he blocked by parrying my foot to my left, causing my foot to hit the floor? But I span around and then tried to kick him in the knee to which he just lifted his foot and kicked me in the chin and lifting me off the ground ever so slightly, however I used this to my advantage.
I manipulated my center of gravity so my body was parallel to the ground before kicking him in the neck as hard as I can, even using my new energy.
The second my foot made contact with his neck, I heard a cracking and then an explosion, before watching his now headless body fly away, bouncing several times on the ground before his body stilled.
For a few seconds at least before I watched a new one replaced it, and he stood up once more with the same grin on his face. Before we launched at each other once more.
~10 years later - NARRATOR POV
In the middle of the Dimensional gap, Booms we're constantly residing. Space was constantly bending, warping and collapsing and what looked like two flashes were clashing over and over at speeds to fast for the naked eye.
Both of them left an aura trail behind them, one pitch black, so black it looked as if you could get lost by mearly gazing at it and the other was a gorgeous white.
As you look close you can see two people, One beautiful little loli with little to no expression on her face besides a grin, the other a Exquisitely handsome male with a grin also.
Both of there bodies clashing hundreds of times within the timeframe of a second.
Bael and Ophis have done nothing but clash, they haven't even spoken a word to each other as they're busy planning there next move. Ophis has improved by leaps and bounds, more or less the same as Bael.
Bael however is also getting stronger, for some reason he feels himself getting stronger then Ophis is when they are fighting so he limits himself, not much since he isn't that much stronger, he don't watch to go all out since He wants Ophis to improve and catch up with him, as both a friend and rival.
That's right, over the past few years they kind of came to a silent agreement that they are rivals, which is why Bael is essentially training her because he found out he loved fighting, and since fighting a person weaker then you was boring he did so. Plus she's his bestie.
Ophis has swallowed a few more yummies since the last time, meaning she has gotten stronger, her mental state also changed, if you look closely in her eyes you can see some intelligence or emotion. Although it's like a child looking at the world for the first time.
Ophis was staring at her rival, her punching cat with caution before she quickly ducked under a punch aiming for her temple.
She tried to go for an upper cut using her claws but Bael back stepped before Bael landed a triple kick on Ophis, disorientating her, one to the left leg causing her to stumble, one to her right ribs, causing her to buckle and suck in a breath before the last landed on her cheekbone spinning her a rapid speeds like a hurricane.
Bael attempted to finish it by drop kicking her for the laughs but suddenly felt his vision twist and saw his body below him.
It turns out as Ophis was spinning she once more summoned her claws and used them to decapitate Bael.
Ophis knew she hadn't won, she knew he would just regrow a new one and act like nothing happened but what she wasn't expecting was for Bael body to grab his decapitated head and place it back on his body, whilst sticking his tongue out and winking before Ophis felt everything go black.
~MC POV
'Phew' that was fun, I thought whilst gazing at Ophis's unconscious body. Over ten years of fighting without stopping.
I still want to continue but I also want to explore a bit. I mean I literally have an eternity after all and I'm interested in what the earth currently looks like.
I also kinda wanna find out whether or not God is around, he is like me and Ophis and was born from nothing so he may be born soon but i'm not sure when, meeting him will be interesting to say the least, up until the war when he became a control freak, however I won't change anything since he's free to do whatever he wants and I'm also not a hero.
Since I didn't want to leave Ophis sleeping on the floor, i appeared in my internal world for the first time, as I looked around I noticed everything was empty, quite literally.
The size of the land currently is the size of New York (783.8 km). So I decided to fill it, I first used my life aura which gave birth to a humungous jungle, trees everywhere, grass up to my knees, with a variety of flowers here and there.
But it was silent. After looking up I saw an endless black night, but that was it, there was no stars, planets or moons, just black. So I'm going to see if I can change it.
At this thought i willed the sky to change color, and it really did so I changed it from dark to midnight blue, then I realized that the sky was actually an illusion used as decoration.
It looks 100% real but was something you could never reach. After this I willed the entire night sky to be full of millions of stars, some far away and some a lot closer so they gave off a diamond hue.
Then I summoned 3 moons for the hell of it, One was a normal grey color, the other was a dark red and the last was a nice deep black like the abyss.
However I also needed a sun, albeit a fake one. So I created a huge sun, of course I willed it so that the world will go through day and night as to not mess up the sky. Perhaps there will be creatures living there after a while?
Once I was done with the sky, I focused on the ground I was standing on. I created a large square shaped crater in the ground that was surrounded by waterfalls and was basically a lake filled with rocks and grass. I will have to fill it with fish from the outside one day.
I created mountains that always circled my internal world so no matter how big they grew, and summoned thousands on thousands of extremely beautiful flowers that spanned the entire world.
Lastly I summoned something I have always loved the idea of. A huge ass world tree, so tall I couldn't see the top, overlooking the whole world, naturally this will be my home for a limited time after all if one time this world will be full of life I will close it off, don't want its beauty to be ruined.
I then created a house, out of the bottom of the tree since there would be only me and Ophis if she wanted. Now that everything was done, I created one more thing, Robots. My own caretaker robots who will look after this world, each with a different job. I handed one a bunch of seeds, they are not normal since they are imbued with mana meaning if one were to eat it they would get benefits. I told her to plant them around the area.
Of course I could just summon them and boom done, but where's the fun in that? I tasked 10 of them to constantly take care of the flowers spanning the entire world, another one I handed a bunch of wine recipes I bought from the system shop, sadly they are the worst ones since I don't have many points. But still good.
The robots look like normal human females, but you can tell they are robots since they don't have emotion or a soul. Only listening to my commands. Of course they are also dressed in a maid uniform too.
After I had finished with all my commands, I realized a problem, I can't bring Ophis in without her permission so I have no choice but to summon one to the dimensional gap, but I had an idea. A floating island.
Since the dimensional gap is technically the place I will be living in for a few thousand years I may as well make it comfy. So I summoned the hanging gardens of Babylon, it was a fairly large area, with ancient styled buildings with trees and flowers on top along with waterfalls flowing down the sides into a lake, there is also a area for a garden in which I will plant some things but not right now.
I quickly go into on of the buildings and create a 4 bedroomed area (House is basically empty with a single room) this house is one of the most beautiful places here, with a garden so the side and waterfalls flowing down.
I summoned this into the dimensional gap, completing the creation of my new home.
After picking Ophis up like a sack of potatoes and hoisting her over my shoulder, I flew towards my new home and proceeded to place Ophis in one of the rooms I specifically made for her. I covered Ophis with the blanket and decided to go to sleep, in the same bed.
