7. Bounties. Finally!

Walking up to our new ship at the port, I couldn't help but marvel at how amazing it looked. I had seen the Thousand Sunny in the anime and I have lived in this world for 2 years with Luffy. I know this world is way more Cartoonish than my old one but that has usually been people with a few objects appearing cartoonish. Looking at our new ship I can feel that this is a cartoon. It is an amazing mix of black with gold and streaks running through it. It is the size of a marine warship. There are three numbered cylinders on each side of the ship. Franky said he made special vehicles that can come out from the bottom of the ship. The ship had everyone's bedrooms with plenty more for future crew mates. There were plenty of rooms for relaxing and everyone's jobs. The bottom of the ship was coated in Seastone, so we could freely navigate the calm belt. The ship had something like the Cupe de Burst that could launch us over a kilometer while starting on the ocean and over 10 kilometers while starting in the air. We had an engine that could move our ship and even allow it to hover. With our dials we could move within the air they even worked when we were out of power and recharged by sailing. It had a three legged Crow as the figurehead. Its wings spread out and it's beak open as if calling out to the world.

" Hahaha. What do you guys think of our new ship? I call it the Crowing Dawn. With it's Super coloring it looks like the sky as Dawn starts to break through. " Franky explained to us.

" Shishishi. You and that Iccee guy did amazing! Great job Franky. " Lufdy says hugging him before he goes to check out the ship. We all thank him and load up our stuff. Not even 30 minutes later we are waving at Iceburg and the Franky Family as we sail away.

It is a boring three weeks of sailing after leaving water 7. We come across a few islands but they were all small and uninhabited. They also weren't where our Logpose was locked on to. All we did there was hunt for more food and train. Eventually we came upon the Florian Triangle, a giant part of the Sea that is covered in thick fog that completely blocks out the sun. Making it impossible to tell if it is night or day. Seeing that our Logpose is pointing that way Luffy decided to investigate the mysterious Darkness. As soon as we enter I can feel as powerful as I do at night. Now I can move faster that Kizaru. Just like at the night my skills are brought to a way higher level. It is probably the opposite of what Kizaru has to deal with, feeling powerful in the day and weak in the night. We are only in the triangle for a day before we here singing come from up ahead. As we draw closer we saw an old battered ship. It had some patches missing, its sails torn and the rudder broken. Only on the deck barely visible was a tall figure with an afro and a top hat playing a violin and singing Bink's Sake. As we pull up to the ship he finishes and turns around. Everyone, but me, is shocked to see a skeleton was thr one playing and singing earlier.

Luffy bursts out, " Are you a ghost? You should join my crew as my musician. You're playing is amazing. Shishishi. "

" Yohoho, how delightful someone who isn't afraid of me after so long. No, Straw Hat boy I am not a ghost, my name is Brook. As for joining your crew while I would love to. There is something I have do first. I must get my shadow back." Brook says starting off happily before ending pointing at his feet sadly.

" Woah, you lost you're shadow? How did that happen? " Luffy asked clearly interested in the story.

* Bang *

" That's not the most important part Luffy. Ah, first Mr.Brook, right. " Nami says after slamming Luffy's head into the deck with a punch. After Brook's nod she continues asking, " To get this straight you were a living skeleton. Then you had you shadow stolen?"

" Ah yes you see my tale is quite sad if you wish to know it. " Seeing our nods Brook continues, " You see I once was part of the Rumba Pirates. We originated from the West Blue and there we met a baby island whale, we named Laboon. He followed us to the Grandline, but because he was to young we left him behind. We promised to come back one day after we sailed around the world. Then one day, years later, we were trapped in the Florian Triangle. Until we all died one by one from a rare disease. I had once happened upon a Devil Fruit years before that. After eating it I noticed no changes and assumed I ate the Human Human fruit or something else useless as I gained no abilities. But sometime after my death I seemed to awaken in the Underworld. After escaping and years of search, I eventually found my own body. Unfortunately so many years had passed all that remained were my bones and my lovely hair. Yohoho. Then around 5 years ago the Shikibuki Gecko Moria came. He captured me and stole my shadow sticking it in the corpse of the Legendary Samurai of Wano Ryuma. I have tried to defeat Ryuma many times but have failed many times. He has all of my abilities and is as strong as I am. The worst part is I can only worry for Laboon. My only surviving Nakama. " , finishing his sad tale Brook seems almost crying. Even though he has no eyes.

" What the giant whale Laboon? Shishishi. We met him on our entry to the Grandline. He is doing, ok. He is the size of an island now. I even promised to look for his old Nakama. Now you have to join my crew and become my NAKAMA. I'm MONKEY D. LUFFY, THE MAN WHO WILL BE THE KING OF PIRATES. " Luffy says clearly happy but also showing his posture as a Captain. His Conquers Haki not oppressive but seemingly to bright up this dark space a little. When he does this, far away I can clearly see multiple sets of red eyes dozens of kilometers away. The creatures are clearly gigantic at least the size of Oars. I think that whoever's controls them may be one of the Ancient Weapons. Like Shirahoshi controls the Sea Beasts and Momunosuke can control Zunesha.

" Yohoho. This must be fate Straw Hat boy. If you can help me get back my shadow I would gladly join your crew. " Brook says with grin bowing and tipping his hat.

For the next two days we introduce Brook to our training regime. When he mentioned how the zombie could use all his moves I told him all he had to do was get stronger and create new moves. He was excited upon seeing all our strength. Though he couldn't grow muscle he could weirdly get stronger. With the gravity belt he could start at 13 times normal gravity. I think it may be in part due too his light weight. After a day he could so Soru, Geppo and the Paper Art. Tekkai would be useless for him with no muscles. When he tried to pull his ' May I see your panties' line I cracked his skull with an Armament encased kick. After that I told him as the First Mate of the crew, I wouldn't tolerate sexual harassment like that to Crewmates. For that all the girls gave me a kiss on the cheek. They seemed to start at each other for a few seconds after Robin did it first before they all followed suit. I ended up with 4 lip imprints on my cheeks. After this I noticed they were a bit more flirty during training. Asking me to adjust there posture or pushing there butts into my waist when teaching them. Nothing big happened but if they all kept pushing me like this I'll probably break pretty soon. Brook also worked on manifesting his ice powers after I bought a Devil Fruit gun that shot out energy if your fruit produced any. He could coat his sword in ice for about 2 minutes.

The 'morning' of our fourth day in the Florian Triangle when we see the giant ship Thriller Bark. We took off our Gravity Belts unknowing we would fight today. We decide to dock splitting up one team to go with Brook, one to go fight and rob Moria, and the last to protect the ship. Luffy and Nojiko decide to go with Brook. Kaya, Mikita, Franky and Sanji decide to watch the Ship. Zoro, Robin, Chopper, Ussop, Nami and I decide to go hunt and rob Moria. Zoro quickly gets lost from the group in the first ten minutes. I tell the guys to watch Nami as she robs the place I'll go fight Moria, Robin tags along with me. With that we quickly break up.

When Brook approached Ryuma he shouted out to him, " Ryuma, I've come to take back my shadow. Today I shall put you to back to rest. "

Immediately they started clashing swords. With Brooks new speed Ryuma could see that he would surely lose soon. Deciding to honor the swordsman who's shadow he has had for so many years goes all out with one more attack. Jumping back he and Brook prepare their final moves.

" Hanauta Sancho: Yahazu Giri! " Ryuma shouted as he jumped at Brook.

" Gentle Blade Style: Death of 1,000 Icicles! " Brook screams before striking.

Like that Brook disappeared striking Ryuma multiple times as his body slowly froze over become an ice sculpture. Before his head was covered he managed to say, " It is a pity. I could only fight at a fraction of my whole power. I can't even rest in Wano. Afro Swordsman. Please find someone worthy of my blade. "

Hearing this Brook nods and retrieves the sword. After beating Ryuma they run into Professor Hogback. After finding out about his evil deeds they quickly beat him up.

Wandering around Ussop's group eventually runs into Perona's ghost. Everyone was scared and ran into the mansion. Being hit by the ghost everyone but Ussop was made extremely sad. Even Nami elementasized wasn't safe from this attack on the soul. Ussop eventually managed to find her real body and knock her out with a punch to the face. After that they tied her up and Nami got to work taking all the valuables with their help.

Finding Moria wasn't very hard in his castle he sat on his throne room. Using my Elememtal abilities I became pure Darkness and came up behind him and grabbed his neck. With a quick Armament Haki coated hand I reached in and pulled out his heart. Instantly shadows scattered around the island return to their hosts.

* Special Mission Accomplished: Defeat a Shikibuki reward placed in inventory. *

Then I swiftly take his Devil Fruit putting it my my inventory. Robin enters the room as i am cleaning up my hand.

" Fufufu, Who knew our First Mate was so vicious. You didn't even give him a chance to fight back. So vicious. " Robin says giving me weirdly seductive vibes.

" What can I say. I am now to my friends but vicious to my enemies. We did just declare the World Government our enemies. As a Shikibuki he is out enemy. " I say to pulling her close as she leans against my chest. We sit there for a few moments just enjoying each other. then she kisses it me it isn't long but I can feel some hidden passion within her surfacing. Separating she is blushing and panting a little.

Eventually we regroup and I tell the group I am going to take one last look around the island. I pick up Ryuma's body. I take away Absalom's Devil Fruit and let Perona go on a boat with supplies. I don't find anymore gold but I do take a few Devil Fruits from pirates that were captives of Moria. I also met Big Mom's daughter and got Big Mom'a life card that can control the homies on Whole Cake Island. I made some friends with the captives on the island and let them know we freed them.

We have to stay here a week longer until the Logpose finally resets. We continue to train on the Island having fun with captives. Eventually we and everyone else sails away from Thriller Bark going our own ways. We learned our next stop was the Sabaody Archipelago . It was near the Redline and known as the entrance to the New World, the ocean ruled by the Four Emperors, where even the Navy treads carefully. It takes another two days before we finally leave the Florian Triangle. Another 10 days pass before we finally see Sabaody Archipelago.

What we didn't know is 4 days after we had left Thriller Bark the Tryant King Kuma had been sent by the World Government to inform Moria about the battle against Whitebeard that would be happening soon. seeing the destruction and methods of fighting he is unsure of who could have done this. But he remembers a recent attack on Enies Lobby by the Strawhat Crew. After Water 7 this is only possible route. He decides that Sengoku might want to update the Strawhats' bounties after this. Then again they were only issued last week after the attack was made public. They erased any mention of the Buster Call or the arrest of Robin and Franky. Instead they made it seem as if a young, blood thirsty pirate attacked Ennies Lobby out of nowhere, killing over 3000 marines in the attack.

It is amazing seeing this in real life. If I thought the Dawning Crow was cartoonish, this island is straight out of the anime. With the special bubbles flowing in the sky and tall trees. Coming upon Grove 27 we see a mermaid, a starfish and a fishman being dragged by some slavers. We quickly save them. Then we notice the Fishman is actually Hacchi, the former member of the Arlong Pirates. After Nami and Nojiko let go of their resentment of Hacchi, he tells us of a ship coater who owes him a favor. He leads us to Grove 13, to Shakky's Ripoff Bar.

Walking in Hacchi yells out, " Hey Shakky, is Rayleigh here? I have some friends here. I was hoping he would coat their ship for them. "

" Unfortunately I haven't seen that bum for 6 months now. Hahaha. If you want to look for him I would try the casinos. " Shakky replied to him before looking at us with a smile, " Oh wow the brand new Supernovas, the Straw Hat Pirates are you friends, Hacchi? Their bounties only came out maybe 2 weeks ago and shocked the world. They even attacked Enies Lobby for no apparent reason according to the World Government. My own sources say there crewmates were arrested and they went and retrieved them. You guys even declared war on the World Government. That's what I call friendship. "

" Exactly they took my Nakama. I had to take them back. Wait. Did you said bounties? What our bounties? Shishishi. My own bounty I can't wait until it's bigger than Ace's." Luffy says simply before his expression changes to excitement.

Shakky then pulls out 12 pieces of paper with our bounties.

Monkey D. 'Strawhat' Luffy: 250 million

Mercury D. Jonny: 130 Million

Roronoa Zoro: 120 Million

Vinsmoke 'Black Leg' Sanji: 118 Million

'Sniper' Usopp: 90 Million

'Devil's Child' Nico Robin: 80 million

'Weather Witch' Nami: 66 Million

'The Shooter' Nojiko: 60 Million

Mikita: 58bNillion

Chopper: 55 Million

'Cyborg' Franky: 40 Million

Kaya: 35 Million

We were all wanted dead or alive except for Sanji. They were also all pictures of us on the roof except for Robin's was of her smiling after we freed her.

" Those are some of the largest starting bounties I have ever seen for newbies. Your crew is the only one to have 4 Supernovas, rookies with bounties over 100 million. Wait, earlier did you say Ace? As in Firefist Ace? The Second Division Commander of the White Beard Pirates? It was just announced 2 days ago that he was captured by the Navy. He will be executed in Marineford in 5 days before the public. " Shakky informed us shocking us all even more than our bounties by pulling out a newspaper with that headline. I mean Nami didn't even scream in shock at her bounty after this.

" What do you mean Ace was captured where is he? He isn't going to die. I WON'T ALLOW IT! " Initially Luffy was distressed but as he went it turned into anger. His Conquers Haki was actually shacking objects a little.

" Calm down Luffy. There isn't anything we can do right now. I mean we could charge to Impel Down but we might end up missing his transfer. Not to mention how hard it would be to fight through their differences there. If we wait till the execution date and attack Marineford. We should be able to slip in while they are distracted by Whitebeard and save Ace. What do think Captain? " I ask Luffy trying to calm him down.

" Alright I trust you Jonny. But we have to save Ace! Now what's your plan? " Luffy says seriously.

" First we need to find Rayleigh. Get our ship coated so we can travel underwater. Then on the day of the execution we go under the Navy's wall and submerge near the execution platform. Then we just need to save Ace. What do you say? " I ask everyone their thoughts. Knowing how important Ace is to Luffy everyone agrees instantly. We decide to look around for Rayleigh while Hacchi, Poporro and Kami stay with Shakky. We decide to split up and look for Rayleigh around the casinos and the Lawless Zone. Splitting up I call Garp for the first time in a few weeks.

" Garp why didn't you call me about Ace? " I ask him as soon as he answers.

" Shut up you brat. What are you supposed to do about it? " Garp asks some anger in his voice.

" Never mind old man. I just want to tell you to be prepared. Even if we have to break away from S.W.O.R.D.. We will be saving Ace. I know it's what you really want anyways old man. Just promise not to tell Sengoku we talked about this. Say I lied saying we were going to Fishman Island. I don't carry if they come at us harder because of this. Luffy would rather die than lose Ace. " I say letting him know what we would do regardless of consequences.

" You brat. I guess Luffy has told you everything about or family hasn't he? Well I promise not to go to hard against you guys and I won't tell Sengoku but that's as far as I'll help. I am still a Marine after all. " Garp says before telling me the exact time the execution is to start.

Walking around Grove 1 I eventually find the slave auction house that Rayleigh should be at. Sneaking in the back injustice knock out any employees with Conquers or my fist. Eventually I find where the slave's are kept. Taking all the keys I can I free the slaves handing over keys until I find the cell with Rayleigh pretending to be sleeping in it.

" Hey old man. I know your up and I came for you specifically. My Captain needs you to coat his ship. I also happen to have some information that you would like to know. It's about your Captain Gol D. Roger. " I say to him as I open the door, his eyes opening when i mention Roger.

" Oh hohoho, a young kid like you still knows about me. And what's that you said? you have some information on Roger? He has been dead for over 20 years and you can't look over 18. What information could you have on my dead captain? " Rayleigh asked pushing a little pressure onto me.

" It's actually about Roger's son. " As soon as son leaves my lips, I'm on my back with his fist an inch from my face covered in Armament and Conquers Haki.

" Speak fast. If your lying. Your head is going splatt. I don't let people disrespect Captain Roger. " Rayleigh says coldly.

" Roger's son is Ace. He goes by Portgas D. Ace. He took his mother's last name. He was saved by Garb as a baby and raised with his grandson my Captain, Monkey D. Luffy. They were raised as brothers. Ace has been captured by the marines and will be executed in 5 days at Marineford. " I say calmly and as I continue he let me off of the floor. I relax as I finish what I am saying.

" Hahaha. What a happy day. I never imagined Fire Fist Ace the Captain's son. Though he did have a girl with the last name Portgas in the South Blue, now that I think about it. Ace does look a bit like Roger before he finished growing. I can't wait to talk with your Captain." Rayleigh says looking happy as he rubs his chin.

With his Haki we quickly find the rest of the crew and regroup at Shakky's bar. There Rayleigh says not only will he coat the ship in three days but he will be coming with us to save his Captain's son. Luffy was ecstatic to find out Rayleigh was Roger's First Mate. He kept comparing me to Rayleigh. Rayleigh gave me a few long glances but occasionally I could see him staring at the hat on Luffy's head. we managed to get into contact with the Whitebeard Pirates with Den Den Snail left by Ace.

" Hello, this is the Moby Dick, Marco speaking. Who is this? " Marco asked.

" Oh hey Maco. This is Monkey D. Luffy. The future King of the Pirates. I was calling to let you guys know you don't need to go to Marineford. I've got it covered. I'll save Ace by myself. " Luffy says looking tense still

" Gurarara Marco hand me the phone. I'll talk with Ace's brother. Hey punk. Who do you think you're talking to? Ace is my son. Of course I'll save him. You become the King of the Pirates? you're just a brat. Gurarara. " Whitebeard says laughing.

" Shut up old man. I'll save Ace. So no one better get in my way. And of course i'll be the King Of The Pirates. I'll be the freest pirate ever. Shishishi. " Luffy tells him before laughing.

Just like that we agree to work together when the execution begins. Three days later the Crowing Dawn submerges on it's way to Marineford. It only takes a day and a half to get there. We end up waiting 10 hours under the water by Marineford before the time of the execution came near and we surfaced to attack.
