CHAPTER - 36

I saw that you were perfect and so loved you.

Then I saw that you were not perfect and I loved you even more.

You were ready for bed. Laying in your pajamas after a long day of work and exercise, you sipped your green tea, grimacing slightly at the bitter taste and sneaking into the kitchen to add some honey. You went to sleep, tired and really looking forward to what tomorrow had in store for you.

[TIME SKIP]

It had been a couple of months since you moved to the school and became friends with BTS and you honestly couldn't ask for more... you had bonded with the boys so much in the past few weeks and were now pretty much inseparable. Going every day to school was probably one of your favorite parts of the day, after hanging out with them obviously.

You woke up around 11, happy to be able to have a free day after such a hectic week. The clock ticked away as you lay in bed wondering how you could spend your "me" day. You wanted to use this day to work on yourself, give yourself a spa moment you know, and get all primed and proper for the upcoming week. You texted your best friend who was here in not more than an hour with Jack, ready to be relaxed, agreeing to her demand of no smoking for the day.

Knowing their wedding was coming up, she really needed the relaxation time with you, her best friend, and her fiancé. She had been going crazy with the preparations and sending all the invites that she'd forgotten that the day was hers and she was the one she had to take care of.

An hour later you both were sitting in the jacuzzi of one of the finest spas in Korea taking in the light vanilla and cream scent from the candlelit between both of your separate areas.

"My I love me some me time", you sighed as you adjusted the cucumber slice on your eye and got comfortable inside the tub. You were itching for a cigarette but Jenny wouldn't let you have one, instead, you started chewing on a strawberry bubble gum.

"Bitch I'm right here.", the girl next to you puffed as she tried to move her face around so she could eat the cucumber sent on her eyes. Your face turned to one of disgust as you rolled your eyes at her crazy antics. Closing your eyes once again, you couldn't help but wonder about your thoughts towards Kim Taehyung. You knew what your plan was but you couldn't help but get attached to these boys who now felt like home to you, especially Taehyung. There was a spark in his eyes when he saw you and you knew that spark was reciprocated.

You couldn't stop your thoughts from wandering off to Taehyung, his perfect face and bubbly personality. The guy was the man of every girl's dreams yet he was best friends with a nerd like you. Beauty with brains AND an amazing personality. Just a thought of the boy sent shivers down your spine and you instinctively reached for the towel beside you and clutched it hard.

why were you feeling this way? You felt so safe, so vulnerable with him.

"YAHHHHHHHH", Jack screamed in your ear making you jolt out of your daydream.

"I've been talking to you for the past 10 minutes bruh. What's on your mind? You've been this way since your trip to the spa.", Jack looked through the mirror to where you and his fiance were sitting in the back.

"It's nothing Jack, my head hurts."

"You know I can't cancel the meeting right?", Jack looked back concerned as he handed you a bottle of painkillers. "Take one, it's gonna be a long ride."

"Wait, meeting? I thought today was my free day, you didn't mention any meetings.", you asked as you popped a pill inside your mouth and swallowed it dry, getting you weird looks from both your companions.

"Bruh, I literally just told you that there was an emergency at the company, our builders decided to cancel last moment and took off with the money."

"Wait what!!???", you exclaimed as anger filled you to the brim, you ran your tongue on the inside of your cheek.

"Hey calm down, we can fix this."

"We'll see who has to calm down, those Lil pieces of shit really did us like that huh? They'll pay for it."

"Oh god this girl really can't be stopped.", Jack facepalmed as he looked at you through the rearview mirror lighting up a cigar, forgetting all about the promise you made to your friend. Jack was feeling very nervous as you entered the building, it was still light outside but there was this annoying look in your eyes that he felt weirdly shadowed. It was the first time someone crossed your company over on your watch and the fact that you couldn't stop them and could possibly disappoint your father was eating you on the inside. you punched the buttons on the elevator as the tension inside the closed space increased. All you could think about was getting it straight in those people's heads who they were talking to.

As you saw the meeting room approaching you took a deep breath to calm yourself down but were stopped by Jack mid-way.

"Yah don't do anything stupid."

"I'm not you."

"Ouch :(", Jack physically pouted which made you smile a little. "Don't worry I won't do anything you wouldn't."

As you were entering the room and were about to flip out, you saw something that shook you. You definitely lost your composure for a second but quickly regained it as you look at the men in front of you.

"BTS?!"
