First Kill!

The Nightmare Spell, commonly called The Spell, infects young people, usually around sixteen to eighteen years old. After being infected, those chosen by the Spell experience an overwhelming desire to sleep. Once they succumb to this feeling, they are transported to the First Nightmare.

Armada decided to use his grunts as his body Armor and thought attacking the brat.

The young man which was shaking gather his courage and lunged on Hàorán.

Kyou swatted him similar to fly while giving him a light smash on his head. He didn't wanted to cause any bloodshed. The young man lose his consciousness and fall down like a broken robot whose battery has been taken out.

"Gary! Keep him busy, I'll do something." Armada yelled at his Lackey as he had spaced out looking at the scene infront.

"Get a grip on yourself you fool!" The sudden yell woken Gary and he looked at Kyou in fear then looked back to find his boss was already missing.

Armada used his attribute to become invisible, [The Unseen] he hid his tracks and control his breathing not to alert the brat ahead and hid behind the broken car. He left his Lackey for giving himself time to activate his memory which he got from his first Nightmare. It was a wooden stake, [Plank of love].

Memory is a magical item tied to the essence of a Dream Realm inhabitant. They are created from Soul Essence but can assume physical form when summoned.

"Oh, what a surprise he left you alone here." Kyou look at the middle-aged man whose name was Gary. Who was already stepping back looking for a way to get out.

"You were the one who wanted to beat me and take the phone right? Why are you running?! Who let you go." Kyou was always keeping his eyes over the surroundings.

The feeling of being alone made Gary's heart rate increase so much that he started gasping and fall down holding his chest.

Kyou felt that the boss earlier had some ulterior motive that's why he took off, now he couldn't even feel his presence nearby. He wasn't proficient in qi yet and had only learn few tricks like walking on vertical surfaces or water.

And the slums were pitch dark which didn't help him a bit as his vision too was low. He decided to use some part of his Yuan Qi and focused it on his eyes.

After a 30 seconds something clicked on his mind and he was able to see the whole area clearly. His vision was so clear that it felt like daylight was fallen on the corridors of slums.

(Am I a genius or it's a stroke of luck. I will name this technique called [Qi Vision] simple af. Anyways that fat boss is hiding behind that broken car, hmm he really is hiding something.

I couldn't see him properly because somehow he had turn invisible, the Qi helped me to find his location. What he took out was a wooden stake, out of nowhere.

Does he have a inventory? Damn! This world seem like a superpower type World or something.) He pondered and put his guard up as the weapon seemed dangerous too.

(And what the heck is that a plank it feels dangerous though. What he gonna do, poke in his ass?) He observed the fat boss was slowly approaching him, Kyou tried to act he didn't had any idea that the fat boss wasn't nearby.

He went near the Gary corpse who died because of sudden heart stroke. (My luck has increased, I can feel it. Might be related to Korotsuke world. Damn I miss my gfs and soon to wives. I can't have Giggity Giggity for the time being.) He looked at Gary corpse and thought about his bad-luck.

"Wish you a nice and happy afterlife." Armada used the chance to attack Kyou with the Stake as the brat was distracted.

"Hiyaaa!" He yelled and tried to drove the stake inside the brat's back when he wasn't expecting. But who would have thought that, the brat would dodge at last moment.

Kyou moved at the last second before the stake can pierce he sidestep and grabbed the stake with his right hand while grabbing the fat boss neck. He looked at his eyes, which had surprised emotion. "How?-" Armada tried to struggle and hurriedly use his remaining soul essence. But it was for naught he was in devil's grasp, who don't forget grudges.

"You didn't expect that I wouldn't know how you got invisible. I don't know which technique you used but it's useless infront of my eyes. Now repent! As there's no one saving you from me!" Kyou chocked the boss neck and increased his grip breaking his cervical vertebra. He tried to struggle a bit but after 2 minutes Armada turned limp.

Kyou throw him away and went near the broken and crouched. Then he emptied his stomach beside it and took a deep breath before vomiting more. After being done with vomiting he wiped his mouth with his arm.

(I killed a person.... why am I not feeling guilt but this sickening feeling. I didn't knew in adrenaline I would kill him. Sigh* humans are really fragile.) Then again he looked back at Armada and Gary corpse. He had also killed Gary indirectly.

He was thinking of running away when something attracted him, he again looked at Armada there was a spherical object on centre of his chest. He went near to check his corpse and crouched to feel the sphere, but he didn't find it over his body.

Then Kyou focused again to look Armada chest to find the sphere was disappearing at fast rate, it was mercurial disappearing in mist form.

He looked at Gary chest to find nothing.

Then he understood, (Is this thing similar to a Dantian but why does it remain in the chest near the heart. This fat boss had it but his lackey didn't. I need more information about this world. I should return to the address which was shown in the phone.)

He stealthy got up from the ground and made his way towards the address. He had already forgotten his two kills as he found something interesting over it.

He was using GPS, this low-end phone had GPS too which was mind boggling. After finding the location his expression broke into a frown, infront of him was a old trailer house. He went near to find the door locked.

(Fuck where's the key? The fuck I'll do with a locked house? Wait.... the message in the inbox, I should check it.) He took the phone from his ragged pocket and opened the message, it needed a password too.

He thought a lot, then inputed [Navi]. His luck was good the encrypted message opened.
