A/N: I have tried to gave her a back story, but there're still spoilers within this chapter. I apologise for those who still haven't red 'Shadow Slave' webnovel.
Centuries ago, Alcina Dimitrescu was a feudal lord over the pleasentries near her castle. She was born into the noble Dimitrescu family sometime after the demise of God's in realm.
There territory fell under many evolved nightmare creatures and believers of remaining Gods who had become far powerful almost reaching unholy rank or sacred rank respectively. As the whole realm had been manifested with their subordinates, the strong ruled over the weak.
Alcina family came under the followers of a certain god/goddess i;e The Beast God/Goddess of Moon, hunting, carnal desire, blood, beauty, and the cycle of birth and death.
While there family was blessed to have a certain bloodline ability related to the said God. The power to control blood as well known as Blood Manipulation.
Because of such circumstances her family was treated like royalties while most of the remaining family devotees don't get blessed for their deeds even after a millennium passed.
There were many factions in the realm some even supported the Daemons(1)* while many use to fight each other's for resources. After the demise of Gods and their disappearence all the believers started to panic as without any powerful figure there wasn't anyone strong enough to take responsibility for the entire realm. Which forces them to remain hostile to each other.
While wars were ongoing in realm there was much sinister going behind the scenes. At earlier stages the war between all believers broke the limit as countless powerful Nightmares and believers were slayed, controlled and played like a chess piece.
Which caused the population of realm decline to a million, they survived at the end. Those survived were related to Apostle's of said Gods and Daemons or were secret families who got inheritance from their gods.
After the great war all the remaining families went into hiding as they didn't wanted anymore casualties, or else it would most probably threaten there survival probability. This led to many Apostle's losing there inheritances or there abilities getting mutated to something different ; a variant or tone downed versions of their Gods.
Such families didn't wanted their secrets to reveal to general public as this might get them to deal with politics and other schemes. But no one knew that after demise of Gods & Daemons a change would occur in the whole realm. A sinister spell was born.
Soon new nightmare creatures started to appear, earlier they were quite weak and got easily subjugated but no one would have thought that they would evolve so fast.
The remains of wars birthed nightmare seeds which started absorbing soul essence of the realm.
That started spreading corruption which affected many beings, it affected the higher powers in realm making them uncontrollable menaces. With passage of time no one could find the source of corruption even after changing sorceries.
Earlier the whole realm was dependent on Rune sorcery (2)* of Daemon of hope but after the great war a new branch of sorcery overtook it which later came to know as the Spell (3)*. No one knew where it came from but this sorcery became the power to defeat the abominations in realm born from the nightmare seeds.
Later apostle families were able to prevail at the end but the apostle of Beast God wasn't lucky. She was assassinated by a dagger, the 'Dagger of Death's flower' which was normally kept sanctioned inside the Temple of Beast God. The same dagger which was gifted by Shadow God who created the concept of death.
Alas the followers weren't able to find the culprit at the end, which forced them to choose a new Apostle from the vassal families and Alcina Dimitrescu was chosen who was a Corrupted Demon at that time. She was chosen because of her two abilities Blood Manipulation & transformation. With transformation she was able to transform into a semi-immortal winged Dragon.
After that did started the rule of Alcina who proceeded with a iron fist like a tyrant. But with passage of time all her friends and families got diminished because of the regular attacks of nightmare creatures. She withstood centuries alone because of her gift of immortality after reaching the terror rank.
Even though she didn't lose hope as her mind pushed towards limit. She wanted to create her own children and dabbled in experiments trying to figure out about her blood.
Other Apostle's of Gods didn't like her ways as most of them had human origins, they didn't like how she treated them like fodder and blood bags. Some even sent their best warriors to attack & kill her but no one succeeded.
Until a priest of Shadow God infiltrated her castle, he was known as Ethan Winters of sacred rank, fortunately he wasn't a apostle. Because of his Shadow he was able to teleport and was able reach the catacombs where Dagger of Death's flower was buried.
Because of his connection with Shadow God he was able to track divinity or objects touched by God's. Alas the Dagger had fallen from Sacred rank to Ascended rank he wasn't able to defeat Alcina who could now regenerate even though her heart had been pierced. But the poison still remained in her body as she couldn't expel it out of her system.
At end she was able to get a Guinea pig for her experimentation. Humans were perfect example of adaptability this led her to succeed. Her dream became a reality, she was able to create not one but two childrens a twin of boys. Both having blood characteristics and similar appearance to a human.
Well both were different from each other one was irresponsive like a doll another was born intelligent to form thoughts. She named them Aron and Ethan respectively. She got interested when she found out her second child wasn't from this world but also a being from future which bought a smile over her lips.
Her heartbeat quicken pondering about future and sighed in relief that he could fulfill her second wish too. To free her from the cage of responsibility. At her end times she was happy to find her son was quite interested in her body. Alas giving her a different pleasure which she wasn't able to feel even though she crush remaining believers of Gods.
Even though Ethan had hostility towards her, he loved her genuinely and fulfill her two wishes. At her last moment she was able to caress his face which was drenched with his tears.
From the beginning to end she felt loved and loved him from her bottom of her heart. Even though it was for a short time she was proud to fill the gap in his heart. The gap where he lacked parental love.
With a smile she succumbed to her death giving appreciation to her son at end.

1)* Daemons: Beings that were partially divine or even almost as powerful as the gods themselves. They are mysterious creatures having different nature. They seemed to have created themselves or at least appeared out of nowhere
2)* Rune Sorcery: The sorcery created by Daemon of Hope. It was used as enchantments by mortals. It was the Sorcery of Names. This is based on the inscription of runes and seemed to have been mostly used by humans. These enchantments helped the enchanter to manipulate soul essence.
3)* Spell: The Nightmare Spell, commonly called The Spell. The sorcery of Daemon of Fate which fooled the Gods and Daemons to make them fight each other.
