Runna: The Refusal Core
In Neo Terra, power is inherited, worshipped, ranked, and weaponised.
Runna was seven years old when an unstable Rift opened near her family. Mutagenic creatures poured through, killed her parents, and left her infected with mutagenic psychosis. She survived, but the infection remained inside her mind, whispering three poisonous lies: that powerful monsters deserve her sympathy, that closeness can change cruel people, and that her suffering gives her permission to become nothing but a victim.
Runna refuses all three.
Raised by her uncle’s family in the lower sectors, bullied, watched, and underestimated, Runna spends her life studying philosophy, medical literature, combat theory, and the hidden structure of the world. She learns to name her delusions before obeying them. She learns that pain is real, but pain is not command. She learns that cruelty may have a history, but it still has a choice.
Across thousands of chapters, Runna, Vincent, Rain, and Asa pass through Trials, war zones, University politics, Blood clan hierarchies, Psy Realm horrors, and the buried sins of the Emperion gods. Every enemy reveals another layer of the same ancient lie: that suffering justifies domination.
Runna’s power does not come from madness. It comes from resisting madness. Every delusion she defeats becomes a weapon. Every false hope she rejects becomes a strategy. Every attempt to make her kneel teaches her how the old system can be broken.
Together with Rain and Asa, Runna moves from Trial survivor to system-breaker, from lower-sector orphan to revolutionary force, from infected girl to the one person capable of facing the Final Evil.
The Final Evil is not merely a monster. It is the oldest excuse in existence. It is wounded power. It is holy victimhood. It is cruelty calling itself justice.
