The Pretender Rewrote
The Pretender was based on the plot of the PlayStation 3 version, and the main characters were siblings. The story was set in the summer of 2053 in Shinjuku. When the protagonist, Nier, faced the sudden attack of monsters, he waved the stick in his hand, but he gradually looked like a corpse. The core mission of the imposter was to achieve the purpose of disguising the target, so it was important to choose the appropriate camouflage method. The impersonator needed to understand the target's personality, habits, language, and so on in order to complete the real imitation. The Pretender's Rewriting also involved the warm story of the Pretender's loving family, as well as the plot adapted from the novel Spy Battle on the Bund. As for the specific content of the rewrite and the development of the plot, the article did not mention it, so it was impossible to know.

Is the Pretender episode 41 or 48?
There was a difference in the number of episodes of The Pretender. The producer's version had a total of 41 episodes, each of which was about 45 minutes long. However, since Hunan TV's episodes were not 45 minutes long, they would broadcast 49 episodes. In addition, the satellite version had a total of 48 episodes, each episode ranging from 27 to 60 minutes long. The difference in the number of episodes between these different versions was mainly due to differences in editing and broadcasting platforms. Therefore, there were both 41 and 48 episodes of The Pretender, and it was up to one's personal preference which version to watch.

Is The Pretender episode 41 or 48?
There were two versions of The Pretender. One was the producer's version with 41 episodes and each episode was about 45 minutes long. The other was the TV version with 48 episodes and each episode was about 30 minutes long. The difference between the two versions was the length of the story and the reduction of the plot. The producer version had a longer episode and a relatively complete plot, while the TV version had cut and re-edited some plots, resulting in an increase in the number of episodes and a shorter episode. Therefore, there was a 41-episode production version of The Pretender and a 48-episode TV version.

As good as The Pretender
If you have to choose between The Pretender and other good spy films, I recommend the following:
Red Pursuit: This is a classic spy film about Chinese agents performing missions during the Anti-Japanese War. The film was about a group of agents who stayed alert and acted in difficult times and finally succeeded.
2 Dark War: This is a relatively new spy film about the story between the Hong Kong police and the underground organization. The movie's action scenes were very exciting, but there were also many deep character descriptions and plot developments.
3. Infernal Affairs: This is a classic Hong Kong spy film about the struggle between two undercover agents in the underworld and the police. The film's special effects and action scenes were excellent, but there were also many deep character descriptions and plot developments.
4 " Valley of the Wind ": This is an animated film directed by Hayao Miyazaki, which tells the story of a group of Japanese agents carrying out missions during the Second World War. The film was famous for its unique animation style and deep character portrayals, as well as many exciting action scenes.

The Pretender Song
The Pretender had an adapted version of the interlude, A Tale of Love. This version was sung by Duo Liang. The adapted tune was soft and gentle, echoing the delicate emotions of the male and female protagonists in the play. It was derived from the exposed version of the ending theme song of the same name. Compared to the ending theme song of the same name (the tune was ups and downs, and the emotional voice was explosive, focusing on expressing the troubled times and love, sorrow and joy in the play), the adapted version of the episode had a more soothing rhythm. The emotional confession was filled with tenderness, and the delicate emotions and infinite love of the characters in the play when facing family and love were narrated with the help of the singer's magnetic voice.
