Witnesses did not need to be disturbed by trial or punishment. Their duty was to provide testimony to the judicial institutions to help restore the truth of the incident so that the judicial institutions could accurately judge the case. If you testify truthfully, you don't have to bear any legal responsibility. On the contrary, if you deliberately provide false testimony to interfere with judicial justice, you may commit perjury and face legal punishment. " The Silent Eyewitness " novel is equally exciting. National Eyewitness was a crime mystery film that was released in mainland China on September 13, 2013. It was directed and scripted by Fei Xing, and starred Sun Honglei, Yu Nan, Aaron Guo, Deng Jiajia, and others. The film told the story of Lin Tai's daughter, Lin Mengmeng, who became a suspect in the murder of his fiancée. Lin Tai hired a lawyer, Zhou Li, to defend his daughter and compete with the prosecutor, Tong Tao. In the 5th British Vanguard International Chinese Film Festival, Witnessed by the Nation won the Best Film Award and Aaron Kuo won the Best Actor Award. In 2014, the film was nominated for three awards at the 32nd Hundred Flowers Awards and finally won the Best Supporting Actress Award. In 2015, it won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 30th China Rooster Awards, with a total box office of 181 million yuan as of January 7,2023. The movie started with a criminal trial that attracted the attention of the whole country. It made rational thinking and judgment from the perspectives of the prosecutor, the defense lawyer, and God. The plot gradually approached the truth after many reversals. Finally, it revealed the truth behind the legend of the " Dragon's Back Wall " and presented the public with a choice between " legal principle " and " reason." In the film, Lin Tai tried his best to "create" the crime scene to save his daughter. This kind of deep fatherly love was moving. At the same time, the phenomenon of public opinion interfering with the administration of justice in the film was also worth pondering. For example, the media attention outside the trial scene and Zhou Li's initial design of bribing the gunmen to mobilize the power of public opinion, all reflected that in the case of public witnesses, the "truth" seen by people might not be the real truth. In addition, there was also the Korean version of " National Eyewitness." The story was about the daughter of the tycoon Lin Taishan, Lin Meiluo, who was involved in drunk driving and the murder of her stepmother, Yu Na. After Lin Meiluo was taken to the police station, she only cried in court and said that she did not remember what happened. Lin Taishan asked his daughter's classmate, Cui Xizhen, to file a lawsuit for her. In the first trial, the evidence pointed to Lin Meiluo, and Xizhen's rebuttal was relatively weak. The follow-up story needed further development. There was also " National Eyewitness 3: The Stockmarket Catastrophe." This was the third movie in the " National Eyewitness " series. It was a crime mystery film with a realistic theme, filmed by 21st Century Wake Media. Watching " All Suspects " wasn't enough. Everyone, please click to read the novel!

" Dafeng Nightwatchman " was an online novel created by a newspaper seller. It was published on Qidian Chinese Network in June 2020 and ended in August 2021. This was a novel that combined detective work with Xianxia. The world in the story contained elements of Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, demons, warlocks, and so on. The author ingeniously integrated different cultures to show the detective wisdom and various skills of the protagonist, Xu Qi 'an. The novel had a simplified physical version, and its sales and monthly votes had been in the top two for a long time. It had won many rankings and awards, such as the 4th place in the 2020 Original Origins Chart and the 2021 searchlight Book Reviewer's Top Ten Online Original Books. The novel was about to be adapted into a web drama, directed by Deng Ke, with Wang Hedi, Tian Xiwei, Liu Yijun, and Yan Zidong as the leading actors. It was scheduled to air on December 12, 2024. The plot mainly told the story of Xu Qi 'an, who graduated from the police academy, who transmigrated and became a fast-handed official in Dafeng County. After the ancient coup deposed Emperor Yongxing and helped Huaiqing become emperor, he retired successfully. From a literary point of view, the novel had a unique style. In the beginning, the protagonist Xu Qi 'an was in prison after transmigrating. He used his experience and wisdom from his previous life to solve the case. The opening of the prison and the setting of the case could quickly arouse the curiosity of the readers. However, there were also some controversial points in the novel, such as the text being brushed off, the characters having facial features, the length of the novel causing the later reading experience to vary from person to person, the protagonist having more golden fingers, and the stallion plot. Generally speaking, a witness referred to a person who knew the facts of a case and provided testimony to the judicial administration. Usually, it was a person who witnessed the scene of the incident. It was difficult for someone who was not present to become a witness. Those who had only heard the relevant information were also difficult to identify as witnesses, because witnesses mainly emphasized witnessing the situation at the scene, that is, seeing is believing.
