Noble Emblem

A young Brave walked out of his village, gathered companions to his side, defeated the Great Demon King, became famous, then came back with beauties in hand! This was a legend that appears in the world of Seyrol every 200 years! Our protagonist, however, isn’t a Brave. Even so, for over a thousand years his figure has loomed throughout its history. Unwittingly, the name of the Red Priest began to resound throughout the world. Red Priest’s legend included extraordinary sword techniques and magic, erudite knowledge, and an almost prophetic ability to lead young Braves toward the proper path. People of the world think of him as a descendent of the ancient Golden Race which led to his omnipotence. In essence, however, this was just the characteristics of the profession known as ‘Noble’. A word from the fabulousest translator/editor on Earth which is me I took upon this translation/editing project for the same reason I started translating my first Chinese novel. There are just too many big ass gems buried in a deep cesspool. I've long guessed that Qidian stopped introducing good Chinese novels on this platform in order to give some breathing room for English (and other) originals, but I don't agree with such approach. From a reader's standpoint, it is such a shame that we don't even know how many brilliant works we are missing because of the language barrier. To be honest, I'm mainly copypasting from the site called Novelhi. It is a really good resource and their machine translation is the best I've seen so far, and they also translate up to the latest available chapter. Still, they have several issues. For some reason they always miss the last paragraph which make you can missout on a potentially very important information related to a story, and they also have parts where just a couple of words gets repeated for a whole paragraph and it actually replaces the original text. They also translate an ad together with a chapter which is immersion breaking. I'll be correcting the inherent sins of such MTL with manual editing and translation and I will also polish some rough edges so that the readers will have as much seemless reading experience as possible. You will definitely have a better time reading this than me for sure

The Emblem of the Star-Crossed Lovers

The Emblem of the Star-Crossed Lovers

I wrote this journal for myself in the guise of a life I can dream when the stars sway. It is a gift for tomorrow left from today; it is a story of hope and also decay. It is a diary of a lifetime as it phases to gray. As time races onward and dances away, the memories will fade but these scars will stay. The malice within me will never allay – it is a madness that only these words can portray. But if I can write them and hide from the fray, then I can stay stable if just for a day. I have a mind meant for math but not memory, so I am cursed to conclude that these words will one day rest as a reverie of the life I once lived and then lost to time. It is a faraway outcome I can infinitely extrapolate – an asymptote solved by my subconscious but only at a glance. It is both a restraint and a release that I will one day lose the whispers of her love and the crimes I committed to keep her by my side. She is the one for whom I spent my whole life chasing. She is the one for whom I would burn cities to the ground just to see the light shimmer on her skin. My story was never one of a willful man striving to fix a broken world; stronger men than me have tried. Some might even say that I have written this as a treatise to my own heartbreak or as a manifesto for my malevolence, but this is a charge conscripted by men constrained by their own morals. I am no philosopher. I am no activist. I am rightfully decried as a monster by the souls that served as steppingstones to the future for which I fought and failed. The truth is that I am a villain, driven by love and fueled by avarice to race toward a world where we could live in peace. I stormed headlong toward this ambition and destroyed everything in my path. The meaning of crows and crows
In different cultures, crows and crows had many meanings. In traditional China culture, the meaning of crows was complex and had a process of evolution. In ancient times, crows and the sun were combined, and they were thought to have the meaning of good news, gratitude, and loyalty. The golden crow was the embodiment of the sun, just like the legend of Hou Yi shooting down nine golden crows. The ancients discovered that crows had the characteristic of feeding back, and thought that it was the representative of " filial piety." In Han Dynasty literature, crows turned into three-legged crows. The three-legged crows in myths were regarded as auspicious signs. On the coffin cover of the tomb of Marquis Xin Zhuizhi of the early Western Han Dynasty unearthed at Mawangdui in Changsha, there was an image of a crow standing in the sun. In the holy land of Taoism, Mount Wudang, crows were also regarded as divine birds. However, in some traditional cultures, crows were also regarded as ominous symbols, representing death and disaster. In the culture of Lisboa, the big crow was a symbol of wisdom. There was once a pagan group in Lisboa that worshipped the big crow, and the big crow was a symbol of Lisboa. There were two big crows on the city's emblem. Are crows called golden crows?
In ancient myths and legends, the Golden Crow was a kind of divine bird. It was believed to be the divine bird that drove the chariot of the sun. It was related to crows to some extent, but crows could not simply be called Golden Crows. Legend had it that when people saw sunspots, they thought that they were black birds (similar to crows) that could fly. However, because they were different from crows in nature, they could be identified with a kick, giving them the image of a three-legged crow (Golden Crow). Therefore, the Golden Crow was a divine bird with a special meaning in myths and legends. It was not the same concept as ordinary crows. "The Crow's Testimony" is equally exciting. Crows 'crows drink water
"The Crow Drinks Water" was a famous fable that originated from Aesop's Fables. The common plot of the story was that a crow was thirsty and wanted to find water to drink. He found a bottle with a small amount of water. The mouth of the bottle was small and the crow's beak could not fit in. The crow saw the pebbles around the bottle, so it picked up the pebbles and threw them into the bottle one by one, causing the water level to gradually rise and finally drink the water. This story had many meanings, such as "Need is the mother of invention","After brute force fails, skill and patience will succeed","Little by little, success will come","Use wisdom well and you will get out of trouble", etc. It was often used to teach people not to give up easily when faced with difficulties and to be good at using the resources around them to display their intelligence. In addition, this story was also selected into the text of the first grade, group 8, lesson 13 in the language book of the People's Education Press (2016 edition). It was also adapted into different forms such as games and animations. In 2009, biologists proved that crows could raise the water level by throwing stones into a bottle, just like in the story. However, there was also controversy over whether the crows in the story could drink water. Some people believed that the focus was on the moral and not the scientific details, while others believed that the crows could drink water from a scientific perspective. Be neighbors with crows
Good words: especially, crooked, compact and coherent, immature, vigorous, nest, swift with the wind, aggressive, full of resentment, light and agile, ugly, torn, puzzled, violent storm, fatigue, mud, stumbling, creepy, colorful. The ravens in front of my house were like black pots that had forgotten to glaze. They were lusterless, pitch-black, and lifeless, reminiscent of the colors of graves and mourning halls. Especially at dusk, when the evening crows returned to their nests, the crows on the tree cawed. Their voices were hoarse and vulgar, and their voices were desolate. Coupled with the vast sky and homesickness, it made people feel irritated and thought that the end of the world was coming. "The Crow's Testimony" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to read it!

Crow was more vengeful. There was an example of a man in India who was mistaken by the crow family for killing the little crow. In the next three years, he would be besieged by the crow family as long as he went out. The crows would accurately peck and scratch him in the crowd, and even try to poop on his head. This showed that once the crows thought they were violated, they might retaliate against the aggressor for a long time. "The Crow's Testimony" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to read it!

The beauty of crows
Usually, crows were not regarded as beautiful birds in the traditional aesthetic concept of the public because of their black appearance. Descendants of Crows
Different species of crows had different breeding conditions. For example, crossbreeding between northwest crows and short-beaked crows could produce offspring. These offspring had the ability to reproduce and had the tendency to become a new species. The breeding of the island crows began from March to July every year. They built nests on trees, laying 3 - 9 eggs in each nest. The eggs were hatched by the female bird. The incubation period was 16 - 18 days. After the young birds hatched, they were raised by both parents. After 29 - 30 days, they flew out of the nest to look for food. The California branch of the raven and the entire northern branch of the raven were genetically mixed to produce fertile offspring, causing the purebred California raven to become extinct and creating a new hybrid species of common raven.
