The first key solfa was a method of determining the position of the "do" sound according to the tonic of different modes. In a major, sing the tonic as "Duo". For example, in C major, C would be sung as "Duo"; in G major, G would be sung as "Duo"; in F major, F would be sung as "Duo", and the other notes would be pushed down along with the tonic. The first key solfa method was easy to use in the simplified musical scores used in Chinese folk music. When using it, one had to first determine what key the music was in. 1 = what key it was. Then, one had to sing this note do, and then confirm the pitch behind it according to the interval relationship. Its advantages include: easy to change the tune of the music, easy to cultivate the sense of melody, and more sense of music mode; easy to grasp the relative pitch; when encountering a midway change, you can immediately sing the name of the new tune; it is more suitable for guiding the creation of tunes, and it is clearer about the harmony and change of the end; when encountering a half-tone in the scale, there are different singing methods to distinguish; it is easier to distinguish the big and small tones of the music. The disadvantages included: because do was mobile, the positions of the roll names were different from each other, and it was difficult for beginners to adapt at first; it was difficult to cultivate a fixed pitch, and it was more troublesome to operate when it came to music that changed midway; it was very helpful for the training of absolute pitch, listening to music, and training the singing of atonal music. The corresponding relationship between the name of the roll and the name of the note was not fixed. The corresponding relationship between the name of the roll and the notes on the piano was also not fixed. Every time a note was seen, it had to go through " conversion " before it could be sung. Then, it would consider its position on the piano. Therefore, this kind of singing method was generally not used when learning musical instruments. However, it was more convenient for solfegning training and singing some simple songs, because this kind of singing method was very direct to feeling the characteristics of the melody.
