The main reasons why A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality was criticized for being a lousy ending were as follows: 1. * * Imbalanced creative mentality **: The human world chapter was created according to the ideal, and the spirit world chapter was carried out according to the initial plan. However, after seeing the other authors earn money, they became psychologically unbalanced. In the Dacheng stage, they began to speed up their creation, ignoring the previous settings, such as the early, middle, and late stages (like the settings related to Qing Yuanzi of the Earth Abyss), directly making the protagonist invincible. After killing Ma Liang, the readers saw the problem and requested to write it well, but the trip to Dragon Island was very rushed. 2. * * Immortal Realm Chapter Not Followed **: The author did not continue to write the Immortal Realm Chapter, but turned to writing novellas. However, the quality was not good. For example, the plot was mostly about fighting in the arena, and the onlookers were mocked and humiliated. The reputation was getting worse and worse. 3. * * Failed to cook the same old rice **: Without sufficient preparation, he returned to "A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality" with the mentality of a nouveau riche and eager to reverse the situation. This caused the Immortal Realm chapter to collapse, disappointing many experienced readers and causing the image of this work to collapse in the hearts of many readers. From the content of the Immortal Realm Chapter: 1. [Han Li's cultivation process is unreasonable.] After Han Li entered the Torch Dragon Dao, his cultivation speed became exaggerated. Apart from the difficulty of advancing to the Grand Unity realm, he could easily advance on his own, and the people around him also improved rapidly. After obtaining the inheritance of Patriarch Mi Luo, there was an array formation similar to the Mental Time House. There was no need for pills or dungeons. Cultivating in the array for a few days was comparable to cultivating for thousands of years. 2. [The Immortal World Chapter Dungeon is Boring: Although the Immortal World Chapter is also a three-part story consisting of cultivation, dungeons, and running, the quality and interest of the dungeons are far inferior to the Human World and Spirit World chapters. The Dust World, the Jiyu Space Realm, and the Wilderness are especially boring.] 3. Han Li's character collapsed: Han Li was originally a person of bitter cultivation and rarely suffered losses in dealing with people, emphasizing the word "stable". However, in the Immortal Realm Chapter, he had been severely injured and lost his memory after exposing the Divine Sovereign Vase, and he had been plotted against and enslaved in the Spatial Realm. He had always had a strong spiritual sense and a firm will, and he had almost suffered a mental breakdown when he was trapped in the Taisui Immortal Venerable's cave abode. Furthermore, the Immortal Realm Chapter's emotional scenes had increased, and the description of Han Li and Violet Spirit's emotional scenes had also changed his original image.
