Small, stories

What if the world you lived in wasn't real. You may ask "what would that make me" It is not to say the people are fake just that they are led to believe the world they live in is real and they are almost correct. It's just the world we live in only has the smallest amount of reality. Meaning there are worlds with higher amounts of reality. This is the Story of a boy who dies in a most ridiculous way that he sees through the world's reality by the sheer disbelief in the way he dies. He is then granted access to a higher reality and rewarded for being the first person to REALIZE. MC's powers are based on Reality and include: the ability to change it(based on level of mc) this includes things like time or space or anything based in reality. so basically if it exists it can be effected by MC the ability to see through it(MC can see through any illusion or unreal thing and can identify anything that is real through sight) the ability to break all things based on realism AKA destroy logic(this is intended to be a ultimate move, it can basically destroy any existence or modify the existing reality like changing the sky's color or creating something out of nothing or adding abilities. this ability will have heavy restrictions like cost or cooldown. All other skills will be based off or retrieved from above skills

Sunroot tells the story of a young man caught between the light of his father’s legacy and the darkness that has overtaken his former friends. Set in a vibrant and whimsical dark fantasy world brimming with extraordinary creatures and powerful forces, the story follows Orin, a boy born with a deep connection to nature, drawing strength from the sun and commanding the growth of plants. At a young age, Orin was kidnapped by a sinister organization known as The Veil, a secretive force that abducts children with unique powers and molds them into weapons for its own mysterious purposes. Orin’s father, Lucian, a legendary hero revered for his heroism and power, has spent years searching for his son, liberating countless children from the clutches of The Veil. But the damage wrought by the organization runs deep—many of the children, once freed, have become corrupted by the horrors they endured. They now roam the world, causing chaos and destruction, without the control that The Veil had once forced upon them. When Lucian finally reunites with Orin, it is clear that his son is no longer the innocent child he remembers. Orin, now a young man, has endured unimaginable trials and witnessed the fall of his friends into darkness. His heart aches not just for his own freedom, but for the redemption of those who have lost their way. Despite his kind and pacifistic nature, Orin takes it upon himself to stop his former comrades, torn between his duty to the world and his desire to save those who have become monsters. As Orin’s journey unfolds, he struggles with the weight of the world on his shoulders. The powers he once thought of as gifts now feel like burdens. His ability to command the natural world is incredible, but it serves as a constant reminder of what he has lost. His connection to the earth, though strong, is not enough to guide him through the moral dilemmas he faces: can his friends truly be saved, or is their redemption beyond his reach? Should he follow in his father’s footsteps as a hero, or carve his own path, uncertain and uncharted? Meanwhile, Lucian, whose powers are fading, must come to terms with the fact that his time as a hero may be coming to an end. He has long hoped that Orin would succeed him as a beacon of hope and light for the world, but he is unsure if his son is ready to bear such a heavy responsibility. Lucian’s faith in his son is unshakable, but he cannot help but fear the outcome of the battles that lie ahead, battles not just of blades and magic, but of the heart and the soul. At its core, Sunroot is a tale of growth, redemption, and the enduring power of hope. Orin’s journey will take him across vast landscapes, from lush forests bathed in water like sunlight to darkened lands ravaged by the remnants of The Veil. Along the way, he will face powerful enemies, haunting memories, and impossible choices. Sunroot is a deeply emotional, imagery rich fantasy that explores themes of loss, healing, and the delicate balance of light and dark. As Orin’s path unfolds, readers will be drawn into a world where the forces of nature themselves come to life, where the line between friend and foe is blurred, and where the greatest battles are not fought with weapons, but in the mind.
