renewed contract
If a novel contract was not renewed after the contract expired, then who would get the money earned from the novel?
After the contract expired, if the novel did not renew the contract with the bookshop, then the money earned from the bookshop would need to be analyzed according to the specific situation.
Generally speaking, if a novel did not renew its contract with Dubu after the contract expired, the copyright would be owned by Dubu. This meant that on this platform, novels were considered their "works" and had the right to use, adapt, distribute, and sell them. After making money, these authors would also have a portion of the profits that could be distributed according to their own wishes.
However, if the novel renewed its contract with Dubu after the contract expired and signed a new contract, the specific distribution method might be different. The new contract might specify the author's copyright ownership, the percentage of shares, and other details. These details needed to be judged and negotiated according to the specific situation.
Therefore, if the novel does not renew the contract with Dubu after the contract expired, it is recommended that the author negotiate with Dubu to understand the relevant rights and distribution methods in order to better protect their rights and interests.
