Elevator Pitch: This is a story about what are Dragon Balls coming down into a society inhabited by humans and demons (Fairies, Youkai, etc.) and various groups clashing over them to vie for power and influence. On top of being a wish-granting device collectively, what if these “Dragon Balls” are distinct magical artifacts, each with serious power that could tip the scales balance, even in regional politics? Follow the story of several protagonists dealing with different sides of a Hougu War to come! Synopsis: In a post pole shift world, divinely-powered artifacts known as “Hougu” had been traversing dimensions, appearing in the material world and enticing many to seek them for making tall fortunes, attaining great powers, building fame, and so on. As Kamui STAR had been ravaged with seeming civil wars—dubbed Hougu Wars—cyclically occurring every few decades, all in pursuit of these magical treasures by all sorts of groups, certain characters grapple with their presence, one of them coming across a sentient sword claiming to be a Sacred Hougu. The Wars would soon begin and they’d find themselves unable to keep their distance, choosing sides for better or worse. This is a TTRPG turned novel featuring 7 protagonists, with the 8th to come in Act 2, using the system of Tokyo NOVA. Characters will be shown interacting with the bizarre “megaplex” they call Kamui STAR, the capital megalopolis of a country boasting a mesh of various ethnic groups, but mostly Japanese and Russians. Instead of forming a party of their own, the protagonists would each take the side of a group in the upcoming Hougu Wars. ______________________ Note: Like most of my works, this is a slow-paced series that takes its sweet time setting things up. First seven chapters shift from one protagonist to another, and the chapters take place roughly chronologically. Protagonists: 1. Yuki: a young urchin who is a caretaker of children by day and an Onmyouji by night. 2. Exelica: an amnesiac woman from space sent on a secret mission. 3. Kagura–Hotaru: a high school girl who takes up a sword thinking someone had dropped it, only to learn she had picked up one of the Seven Hougu. 4. Lev: a cold assassin for hire masquerading as an arms shopkeeper. 5. Saya: a dorky spy of Tara Clan who happens to be an art student (despite never going to any art class). 6. Anastasia: a Hanyou hired as a hacker and hunter who struggles to find her place in the Western Ward, a place inhabited by mages and Ayakashi. 7. Hisaki: a craftsman obsessed with forging his own Hougu, joining with a powerful Ayakashi clan to further his aim. Schedule: 1 Chapter will be posted every Friday, roughly 3 PM (UTC+6). This is also posted on: AO3, ScribbleHub, Royal Road and Wattpad. Cover image is drawn by a friend known as monkoumon. It features Exelica.

Accidentally bound to a quick transmigration system, Ning Yue is resistant on the surface, but inwardly, she's screaming wildly: "As long as I keep completing missions, it's equivalent to gaining eternal life, I'm going to keep transmigrating forever!" In "True and Fake Rich Daughter," she is the fake rich daughter who was abandoned. She declares, "The wealthy family abandoned me, so I will create a wealthy family of my own!" In "Era's Blessed Child," she leads her entire family to build a fortune, turning the fake blessed child into a real blessed child. In "Flourishing Age of Shengshi," having transmigrated into the Empress who was turned into cannon fodder, she simply turns the ungrateful mother and son into cannon fodder instead.

[Hidebound Older Man VS Two-Faced Heiress: Daddy-Type + Seductress + An Old House on Fire] Everyone in Aethelgard says, a man should marry a woman from the West Family. The eldest daughter of the West Family is gentle and virtuous, a sought-after prize in high society. On the eve of her engagement. Her fiancé cheated on her. Willow West, having played the good girl for so long, decides she's done pretending. Fueled by alcohol, she finds a handsome man. Just one wall away from the scumbag ex and his mistress. The next day, she wakes up to her world collapsing. She had slept with the circle's famous 'older man'—Aiden Pierce, her dear uncle's best friend. Her impression of Aiden Pierce wasn't very good. Years ago, when she was having her first romance, she had tried to sneak a kiss with her young boyfriend, only for Aiden Pierce to report her to her uncle before their lips could even meet. The Aiden Pierce of today is even more dull—celibate and restrained, with everyone from his secretary to his assistant being male, and zero romantic scandals to his name. He's nothing short of a hidebound traditionalist! Willow West wants to escape. Aiden Pierce's well-defined hand grips her chin. "Miss West, a man's virtue is still virtue. You must take responsibility for me." * Aiden Pierce, who had practiced self-restraint for thirty years, was captured by Willow West—a woman gentle and demure in public, yet passionate and daring in private. Everyone thought Willow West was a good girl. Only Aiden Pierce knew that behind closed doors, the young woman not only smoked and drank but was also a cool, badass biker. * The assistant has recently noticed a change in the workaholic President Pierce. Not only is he hitting the gym three times a week, but his style has also shifted from uniform high-end suits to a different streetwear brand for every day of the week. His once stern and unsmiling face now frequently breaks into a smile. Even his eternally unchanged screensaver has been replaced. It's now a picture of a sexy, wavy-haired beauty in a black biker suit, holding a cigarette and sitting on a motorcycle!

On the most popular interstellar forum, there is a hot topic: What is the most unbelievable thing that has happened around you? Chun Mian: Thanks for the invite. I was sitting at home, and a door fell from the sky. Life is like a tightly closed door, before opening it, you never know, what you will face: a living person or a forty-meter-long blade!
