Rescuing Him in Every Twisted World

Rescuing Him in Every Twisted World

Liesa Valtieri was just a psychology assistant—nothing glamorous. She picked up a case her supervising therapist had flat-out refused. That single decision dragged her into a long-term, extremely hands-on job: jumping through the fractured inner worlds of business tycoon Angus Romano, patching up the emotional blind spots of his split personalities, one world at a time. _________________________________________ World One: The CEO and His Personal Doctor The CEO leaned back dramatically on the hospital bed, eyes dark with grievance. "You only lost love," he said hoarsely. "But I lost a leg." Liesa glanced down at his medical chart, then at his perfectly intact limbs. "…Angus, it's just mild discomfort in your right leg." He stared at her in silence, then spoke with grave resolve. "If you don't love me," Angus said, " this leg can go." She rubbed her temples. "Love. I love you. Happy now?" He smiled, instantly healed. _________________________________________ World Two: Prison Kingpin and Rookie Guard "Do you like me?" he asked, casual as small talk. Liesa didn't even hesitate. "No." He nodded, "Alright. Then I'll escape tonight." "…Wait..." _________________________________________ World Three: Noble Lady and Her Devoted Attendant Liesa put a book in his hands, expression serious. "I just want you to study more," she said. "Grow up educated. Contribute to the society." The attendant hugged her waist, cheek pressed against her shoulder. "No," he said calmly. "I just want to stay with you and sleep." "..." _________________________________________ World Four: Heiress Wife and Her Husbands… Plural? Angmar Romano crossed his arms, tone cold but precise. He said, "Strictly speaking, I'm Liesa's husband. The wedding was just ruined by a certain jerk." Across the room, Durgus Romano smiled faintly. He said, "Sorry. First come, first served." Liesa stared at the two identical faces in front of her. "…OMG," she muttered, "I never would've guessed this world had two Mr. Romano. And they're twins." _________________________________________ World Five: City Lord's Wife and Her Scheming Husband Angus sighed, gaze gentle, voice full of regret. "All my life, I've only wanted one thing," he said softly."To put down the blade and be a kind, harmless man." Speechless, Liesa said, "Could you put down the knife on my neck first?" _________________________________________ ...

The Book of Daniel

The Book of Daniel

This book takes its name from its hero, who was allegedly among the first Jews deported to Babylon, where he lived at least until 538 B.C. Strictly speaking, the book does not belong to the prophetic writings but rather to a distinctive type of literature known as “apocalyptic,” of which it is an early specimen. Apocalyptic writing first appears about 200 B.C. and flourished among Jews and Christians down to the Middle Ages, especially in times of persecution. Apocalyptic literature has its roots in the older teaching of the prophets, who often pointed ahead to the day of the Lord, the consummation of history. For both prophet and apocalyptist there was one Lord of history, who would ultimately vindicate the chosen people. Apocalyptic also has roots in the wisdom tradition. Daniel has the gift of discernment from God. Greek wisdom (represented by the Babylonian “magicians and enchanters”) is ridiculed (see especially chaps. 2 and 5), whereas God reveals hidden things to faithful servants. This work was composed during the bitter persecution carried on by Antiochus IV Epiphanes (167–164 B.C.) and was written to strengthen and comfort the Jewish people in their ordeal. The persecution was occasioned by Antiochus’s efforts to unify his kingdom, in face of the rising power of Rome, by continuing the hellenization begun by Alexander the Great; Antiochus tried to force Jews to adopt Greek ways, including religious practices. Severe penalties, including death, were exacted against those who refused. The book contains traditional stories, which tell of the trials and triumphs of the wise Daniel and his three companions. The moral is that people of faith can resist temptation and conquer adversity. The stories bristle with historical problems and have the character of historical novels rather than factual records. What is more important than the question of historicity, and closer to the intention of the author, is the fact that persecuted Jews of the second century B.C. would quickly see the application of these stories to their own plight. There follows series of visions promising deliverance and glory to the Jews in the days to come. The great nations of the ancient world have risen in vain against the Lord; his kingdom shall overthrow existing powers and last forever; in the end the dead will be raised for reward or punishment. Under this apocalyptic imagery some of the best elements of prophetic and sapiential teaching are synthesized: the insistence on right conduct, the divine control over events, the certainty that the kingdom of God will ultimately triumph and humanity attain the goal intended for it at the beginning of creation. The arrival of the kingdom is a central theme of the gospels, where Jesus is identified as the human figure (or “Son of Man”) who appears in Daniel’s vision. The message in both parts of the first chapters is that history unrolls under the watchful eye of God, who does not abandon those who trust in him and will finally deliver and re-establish them. Moreover, it can be pointed out the same teaching in different symbolism; even describes the king’s dream as a “vision.” I hope that you all enjoy this book! God bless you

Rescuing Hearts

Rescuing Hearts

"You show up for thirty days, do your time, and disappear. Just like everyone else." When her fiancé left her at the altar for her more "successful" best friend—publicly humiliating her in front of 200 guests and later draining their joint business account—Dr Grace Ashford lost more than love. She lost her thriving veterinary practice in Boston, her savings, her reputation, and her ability to trust anyone who wasn't covered in fur. Eighteen months later, she's barely keeping Haven's Gate Animal Sanctuary afloat in rural Vermont, caring for the town's unwanted animals with duct-tape solutions and ramen-noodle budgets. She's sworn off relationships, Wall Street types, and anyone who looks too polished to be genuine. Her new life motto: animals don't lie, people always do. Then Ethan Kane shows up for court-ordered community service. Dressed in designer clothes he clearly hasn't washed himself, sporting a black eye and an attitude that screams "rich kid slumming it," Ethan is everything Grace despises. A former Wall Street golden boy sentenced to 200 hours of service after punching his boss, in front of the entire trading floor, no less. He's arrogant, entitled, and clearly counting down the minutes until he can return to his privileged life. Except Ethan doesn't disappear after his first miserable day of mucking out kennels. He keeps showing up. Early. He bonds with Thor, the three-legged German Shepherd so traumatized he attacks anyone who comes near, except Ethan. He fixes the broken barn door Grace couldn't afford to repair. He researches canine PTSD at midnight and presents Grace with a training plan that actually works. And when an anonymous donor pays off the sanctuary's $47,000 debt—the exact amount Grace mentioned once in passing, she starts to wonder if the brooding ex-finance guy sleeping in his car because he's "between apartments" isn't quite the villain she assumed. But Ethan is hiding something darker than financial ruin. The punch that earned his community service? It was aimed at the man who stole Ethan's proprietary trading algorithm, destroyed his reputation, and drove his younger sister to a breakdown. Ethan lost everything defending her—his career, his fortune, his spotless record. Now the same ruthless corporation that destroyed him wants to build luxury condos on the land adjacent to Haven's Gate. They're buying up the town, piece by piece, and Grace's sanctuary is the last holdout. When they offer her $2 million to sell, enough to save every animal and build her dream facility elsewhere, Ethan realizes the choice he makes next could save Grace's sanctuary or destroy the fragile trust they've built.

Doctor Rescuing Police
A few novels to recommend: - The Murderer, a mystery detective novel written by Mr. Xingxing. There was darkness behind the city, and ordinary cases hid shocking secrets. The male protagonist was a prospective doctor. After becoming a forensic doctor, he became the captain of a special case. The female protagonist wanted to be a household registration police but became a special case police flower. They solved cases all the way. The combination of a vicious and black-bellied captain and a police beauty with a rough background was super cool. The protagonist was reborn as Yi Di to change history and build the strongest dynasty with Durant. The young coach thought he was being assisted, the stars hoped that he would retire, and the management, commentators, media, fans, and other different reactions. It was super interesting. - Omnipotent Cop, an urban novel written by Wang Erming. Little Assistant Police Officer Zhou An became an all-rounded police officer with the Police God System. This was a good warning script. The writing style was good, and the supporting characters were smart. It was a little complicated in the early stages, but it was good in the middle. Those who were interested in warning scripts could read it. - 'Hibernation for 30 Years, Discovering That My Eighth Brother Is Zhu Yuanzhang' was a historical novel written by Ji Gong in the Wilderness. After the old demon Zhu Yuan hibernated, he went to Yingtian Prefecture to look for Eighth Zhu. A novel recommended for rescuing witches
I recommend " The Wizard's Journey to Creation." It was a fantasy novel written by Mu Yue Si Chen. It was about a person bringing a world to the wizard world. The book list had been strongly promoted in the new website category. Overall, it was a fantasy masterpiece, but the female protagonist was a little useless. You can also take a look at " The Wizard's Road in the Other World ", written by a pure black rabbit. The female protagonist was reborn as a small noble, but the empire was invaded, so she could only become stronger. It was suspected of plagiarizing " The Sorcerer World ", but the female lead did not have a CP. The battle description was gorgeous, the imagination was rich, and the author's writing skills were good. Although the ending was bad, it was still a good wizard novel for the female lead to improve herself. "[Western Fantasy] Road to Prosperity " had ended. The female protagonist had a son before she transmigrated and her lover had died. The main task was to build her territory. " Guanghua Ji ", 2.24 million words, no VIP. The author's persistence in writing is very good. The female channel has no CP novels, and the female lead is decisive and intelligent. The Heavens: Starting from Da Yi Shooting the Sun was a novel about the heavens. It was a story of Da Yi in the background of covering the sky. " The Path of the Lich King " was an online game novel written by Jin Yi. The female protagonist was a lich. A strong woman was not weak. The ending was rushed but overall, it was not bad. There was also " The Mediocre Rebirth ", an urban entertainment novel written by Little Master Lu. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>

The Little Beggar Rescuing the Vagrants
I recommend a few novels. Pretending to be Supreme in the Heavens was a novel written by the God of War. Male protagonist Faur (formerly known as Wang Gama), 18 years old, Aries, 180cm, 75kg, professional investigation section chief (god), specialty is a bunch of cool abilities. The story was that he was tricked into becoming a super powerful existence, but he was afraid that he would be discovered to be faking it. The evaluation of the book list was that the heavens were still willing to save the flow. "Super God: Starting from the Possession of Angel Leng" was a novel written by the melon-loving panda. The protagonist had no intention of fighting for supremacy. He only wanted to protect the peace of the world. After achieving his goal, he would continue to protect the achievements of his friends. "Apotheosis: Spoiling King Zhou at the beginning, the plot collapses", a Xianxia novel written by Ha Mihua. Yin Hong transmigrated into the second prince of King Zhou and wanted to cling to the Clan of Enlightenment, but King Zhou could listen to his thoughts. The plot was going to be very interesting. "Gobi Water World", a reality novel written by the bent man. His new book, City Rebirth as a Beggar, was about to be uploaded with 30,000 words. There were keywords such as Li Dashan and Water Crystal. The Legend of a Bull was a fantasy novel written by Yixiao for a lifetime. It was the story of a big yellow bull evolving into a peerless monster in another world. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>
