The following is a tutorial on how to create the cover of a web novel with photoshop: 1. ** Confirm Basemap (background image)**: - You can choose beautiful pictures on the Internet (pay attention to copyright issues. If you don't have the money to customize, try to find pictures that can be used for commercial purposes), or if you have the money, find an artist to customize. For example, when creating the cover of an ancient novel, one could choose pictures such as ancient beauties. If you are not satisfied with the color or proportion of the picture, you can modify it. 2. ** Setting Character (Character Setting)**: - The original color of the words could be made black first to facilitate subsequent coloring. After creating the font, he dragged it into PS and placed it in a suitable position on the processed base map (if the base map was processed in a vertical version, the font would also be made in a vertical version). 3. ** Adjusting the text display effect **: - If the black words were not obvious enough on the base map, they could be solved by the layer attributes that came with PS. For example, he could first add an external glow (set the blending mode to normal, expand to 11, size to 81, and other parameters for reference only). If he felt that the black color did not match the base map, he could also add a gradual overlap (the color could be chosen according to his preferences). 4. ** Laying-out (Take a specific novel as an example)**: - After opening the material, select the text tool to enter the text, such as the word "wear", select the appropriate font and size, and then use the shape tool to draw a circle slightly larger than the text (the color can absorb the color in the material, such as pink), and put the circle behind the text. - He made four copies of the word "wear" and the circle behind it with the word "ctrl-J", and changed the words to "Yue","Zhong","Sheng", and "Zhi" respectively. For the remaining words, such as "Fate from Another World", another typographic effect was adopted. - He created a new layer, entered "Otherworld", and chose a suitable font. The color was to absorb the color in the material (darker and more eye-catching), and he added a stroke to the font (the color also absorbed the color in the material). - Give the "foreign world" text a glowing effect (size around 7), copy the "foreign world" text and change it to "continue fate", and place it in an appropriate position. - Enter the author's signature at the bottom of the cover. 5. ** Create a new document and insert material to make a cover (general steps)**: - After downloading the Photoshop, click on the file in the upper left corner-New. Set the width to 600 px and the height to 800 px (different websites require different size). After confirming, a white background will appear. - You can go to Petal Network to download various cover materials, and then click on the file-insert material, such as inserting lace. Then, he clicked on the "T" on the left side of the tool bar and began to input the text one by one and then type it out (the font can be downloaded through the font manager). - You can add cute decorations, such as clicking the rectangular tool on the left side of the tool bar to create a border, then add decorations, fill in the author's information, or add custom decorations such as "////////""..." Wait. - Finally, he clicked on the "Save" button to save the cover. Read more exciting novels for free
