the strange ring

Neverness to Everness was an open world supernatural urban RPG developed by Hotta Studio under Perfect World. The story begins in the city of Hateros, and players will become a member of the antique shop, Ivonne. As the first anomaly hunter without a license, they will explore the mysteries of various cities with their companions with different personalities and extraordinary abilities. Players could use " abilities " in the game, and could also drive, modify vehicles, buy real estate, and other operations. They could freely explore the city of Heteros. Every choice the player made would affect their experience in the city. The main game characters were Mint, Nanally, and Sakiri. On July 16th, 2024, Hotta Studio announced the game. On the same day, the official release of the PVP and real-life demonstration video, and opened the game reservation. On November 28th, the Singularity Test for Alien Ring was launched on PC. On the second race track," Strange Ring " had many innovative aspects. For example, the plot used a three-dimensional rendering and two-dimensional animation style. This technology rendered the three-dimensional model into a two-dimensional animation, making the animation full of hand-drawn texture. It was like adding special effects to the trajectory of the characters running in the city, making the dynamic feel like the speed and trend of the comic characters running. In addition, the game's battle special effects, screen loading, and when the character entered an abnormal space, there were many doodles. The highly saturated color scheme and lively lines made the overall picture look youthful and energetic, and the visual experience was stronger. The plot setting of " Strange Ring " was suitable for this kind of doodling style. The city of Hateros was full of relaxed and interesting daily life, but there were also many hidden anomalies that threatened the safety of the city. The anomaly hunters needed to help solve the troubles encountered by the citizens. Players can switch between the skills of different vision hunters, accurately contain and eliminate evil visions, and may obtain unexpected surprises from the visions. The game also had the feature of seamless transition. For example, when one entered the abnormal scene from the real city, the transition was natural, and the transition was also very smooth. The city of Heteroth had a rich and complete transportation system. Players could take public transport, take the same sea train as Hayao Miyazaki, have their own luxury vehicles and modify them with doodles, or have their own luxury floors and overlook the entire city of Heteroth from a private pool in the sky.
