Biodiversity and caricature don't have a direct connection. Biodiversity refers to the variety of life on Earth, while caricature is a form of art or illustration.

In November 1988, the United Nations environment program held a meeting of the Professor's Working Group on Biological Diversity1 to discuss the need for an international treaty on biological diversity2. Subsequently, a working group was established to draft an international legal instrument. In May 1992, the Convention on Biological Diversity2 was adopted at the Nairobia1 Conference. In December 1994, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution to set December 29th as the International Day for Biological Species. In 2021, it was changed to May 22nd. The term 'biological diversity'refers to the variety of life in all forms, levels, and associations of living things on Earth, including genetic, species, and ecosystem diversity'. Its significance was that it was the result of billions of years of development and evolution of life on Earth. It was the material foundation for human survival and sustainable development. It provided all the food, wood, fiber, oil, rubber, and other important industrial raw materials for humans. Most of the Chinese medicine also came from organisms. Moreover, the protection of biological species was equivalent to protecting the cornerstone of human survival and social development, as well as the foundation of human cultural variety. It also helped to maintain the Earth's homeland and promote the sustainable development of mankind. However, with the pollution and destruction of the environment, biological species were rapidly disappearing. Once a species disappeared, it would affect the entire biological chain, causing a chain reaction that would affect the survival of other species. Read more exciting novels for free

Bees are crucial for biodiversity. They pollinate a vast number of plants. When bees transfer pollen from one flower to another, it enables plants to reproduce. This leads to more plant species thriving, which in turn provides food and shelter for many other organisms.

One success story is the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). It has been successful in reducing illegal trade of endangered animals and plants. For example, it has helped in protecting elephants from the ivory trade by strictly regulating the international trade of elephant products.
