Bellum Justum

Bellum Justum

The Grand Crusade initiated by Holy Pope Urban II has failed. The armies of the Cross has failed to retake the Holy City and was hunted by the heathens. Those who had some kind of choice defected, surrendered or simply took their life to save themselves from serving those they considered malevolent. Lord Wren and his band of wolves were one such party, defeated and battered, they joined the heathens, not for gold but for survival. They hated their fate for it and yet, by the end of the war, they were more than friends. They had bonded by blood. Unfortunately, that union did not last for long and Lord Wren was killed under mysterious circumstances. Now, with the loss of Lord Wren and sensing the weakness within his house, Duke Hendrickson has started a campaign against House Marchosias, his intention to either decimate or subjugate. Young Wulfric, young and juvenile, must now rise up and meet the Duke in battle to save his title and family from annihilation. Heavily outnumbered, victory seems nigh impossible but Wulfric will fight on. If not for himself, then for his family. But unbeknownst to him, dark undercurrents sweep in the shadows, it's intention unknown and repercussion unfathomable. Will the Young Wolf triumph against the insurmountable obstacle or will he be swept up by currents far stronger than him. Only time and fate will tell. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cover Pic: The Rhombus Knight by Dominic Mayer. (url:https://www.artstation.com/artwork/WKr3N3)

SANCTUM

SANCTUM

***Published in Amazon (paperback/ebook*** "Silence your tongue Aurora." He promptly commanded before he cupped her chin and pressed his palatable lips into her mouth. It was a whirlwind of chaos. Her mouth was covered entirely with his own. He savagely torpedoed his tongue and flicked and sparred it with hers until she moaned in protest. She pushed his chest forcefully back, but he only seized her hands and pinned them on the door. She moaned again, this time feeling breathless. He didn't give her any respite even with this however. He used his power to control the air and ordered it to fill her lungs with enough oxygen so that she wouldn't faint of asphyxiation. And the wind did so accordingly, ultimately giving him the much needed time to claim her mouth more leisurely. He had never tasted this kind of sweet nectar before. The longing about it... the yearning for more... the feeling of exploding was so tangible against her skin. Ahhh... yes. Yes. So this is what humans call, desire.... ~ S ~ Follow an exorcist priest assigned by Sancta Sedes to exorcise demons from every continent. He must obey the Holy Pope whatever the cost is due to a dark secret only him and a few bishops know about. And this time, the Holy Pope instructs him to go in the City of Soren to investigate a recent, of the many, demoniacal attacks in an orphanage house of St. Therese. Once there, he quickly discovered the reason why, but never had he expected it to come from an unlikely source: a woman, who had broke down his walls in more ways than one. Can you share some Nutmeg horror stories?
There might be a story where a person bought what they thought was fresh nutmeg. But when they grated it into their hot drink, it had a strange, rancid smell. Turns out it was old and spoiled nutmeg that had been sitting on the store shelf for too long. It not only made the drink undrinkable but also left a horrible aftertaste in their mouth.

What could 'nutmeg hare every tree tells a story' mean?
This statement seems to be a very imaginative and almost poetic one. 'Nutmeg' could symbolize something unique or special in the context, perhaps a particular quality or essence. 'Hare' might represent the wildlife element. And when it says every tree tells a story, it could be suggesting that nature as a whole is full of stories waiting to be discovered. If we consider a forest, each tree has its own history - from the seeds it grew from, to the storms it has withstood, and the other living things like the hare that interact with it. And the nutmeg could be a part of the overall tapestry of scents, uses, and cultural associations within that natural setting.
