The sad dialogue between the male protagonist and the female protagonist in ancient novels
Male Lead: Forgive me, I only sympathized with you. You misunderstand me. I just hope I can help you. Male Lead: You're wrong. I don't have real sympathy. My feelings for you are just an uncontrollable obsession. I understand, but I've already made my choice. Male Lead: What did you choose? I don't understand. [Female Lead: I chose to leave to find my own happiness.] Male Lead: What does this mean? Don't you want to be with me? Female Lead: I already understand that your feelings for me are not real. I don't want to be a burden to you or hurt you. Male Lead: Why did you do this? My feelings for you are real. I don't want to lose you. I know your feelings for me are real, but I've made my choice. I don't want to force myself to be with you because I don't want to hurt you. Male Lead: I understand, but I really can't control my emotions. I can only wish you well and hope that you can find your happiness. [Female Lead: Thank you. I will remember your kindness and wish you well.]

The sad dialogue between the male protagonist and the female protagonist in ancient novels
An example of the sad dialogue between the male protagonist and the female protagonist in ancient novels is as follows: I know you won't forgive me and I won't blame you, but I can't go with you anymore. Female Lead: Why? We still have a long way to go. I've tried my best, but I can't let myself get hurt again. I've already tried a lot, but the results aren't ideal. [Female Lead: Maybe we can try to change our strategy.] Male Lead: I don't want to think about how to salvage the relationship between us anymore. I just want you to know that I really love you. Female Lead: I know you are very attentive, but I have already made my choice. I know, but I also hope that I can give you some strength and courage to make better choices. [Female Lead: Thank you. I'll think about it.] [Male Lead: I also hope that you can find a happiness that truly belongs to you. Don't force yourself.] [Female Lead: I will. I believe in you.] Male Lead: I also believe that we will each go to find our own happiness and no longer interfere with each other. Female Lead: Alright, I believe that we will go our separate ways, but we will always remember the journey we have traveled together. The above dialogue might be a plot in an ancient novel, in which the male protagonist expressed his pain and sadness to the female protagonist, but at the same time, he also expressed his cherish and respect for each other's feelings. This kind of emotional expression often allowed the readers to feel the love and care of the male protagonist for the female protagonist. At the same time, it also conveyed a profound philosophy of life, that is, cherish the person in front of you, don't give up easily, but also learn to let go and let each other find their own happiness.

On the "dialogue" in the novel
A dialogue in a novel usually refers to the communication between two or more characters that can be presented in text or voice form. Conversation was very important in a novel. It could promote the development of the plot, shape the character's personality, and reveal the inner world. In a novel, there are many ways to express dialogue, including direct dialogue, indirect dialogue, inner monologue, tone change, and so on. Among them, direct dialogue was the most common way of expression. It could be expressed through the character's verbal language. On the other hand, indirect dialogue was a very interesting way of expressing one's identity and relationship through the words and actions of other characters. In novels, the two sides of the dialogue usually needed to have a certain character setting and personality characteristics to show the inner world and emotional changes of the character through the dialogue. At the same time, the language in the dialogue had to be very precise and vivid so that the readers could really feel the emotions and tone of the characters. In writing, the way the dialogue is expressed needs to be decided according to the plot and character setting. Attention should be paid to avoiding repetition, monotonous and dull, so that the dialogue has a certain sense of rhythm and conflict, so that readers can better immerse themselves in the story.
