There is gender discrimination in the publishing industry. The reasons for such discrimination were complex and could involve many aspects such as culture, society, and history. In traditional culture, men were regarded as the main decision-makers and pillars of family and society, which made it easier for men to obtain opportunities for publication and communication. In addition, many editors and editors would prefer to choose men because they believed that these works had more market value. Sexism can also lead editors and editors to inappropriately edit and publish women, for example, by unnecessarily restricting or deleting language and writing to improve the quality of men. Such unfair treatment may affect women and limit their influence. Despite gender discrimination, many women fought for equal opportunities in publishing and broadcasting. At the same time, many editors and editors began to treat women more fairly and equally, which helped to promote gender equality and the prosperity of literature.
