Author Updates: *Attention* TUESDAY'S RELEASE WILL COME OUT WEDNESDAY DUE TO EMERGENCY! *** Synopsis: A long time ago, there was a golden age for mortals. Heroes walked among the masses, and the dao was the pursuit of all. It was a time of great prosperity. But then, calamity struck, and nearly all life in the mortal realms was wiped out. Desperate, survivors beseeched the gods for aid, but their prayers seemed to go unanswered—until Ea, The Great Savior, King of the Gods, descended. He subdued the calamity, herding it away to the depths of the earth, and was never heard from again. Now, 1000 years later, a new age of heroes dawns. However, in times of heroes, disasters often lurk. With Ea still absent, the pressing question remains: If the sky is to fall, who will rise to bear its weight? As entire cities fall, two exiles find themselves caught in the storm. Ruby Velkyn was born into a royal bloodline of fire and power, destined to inherit the throne. Instead, she was cast out. Branded a failure, she now wanders the lands, searching for a purpose beyond the flames that haunt her. Kaia Locke was never meant to survive. Taken at birth by a fanatical cult, she was raised as a vessel for a power meant to oppose Ruby’s bloodline—a darkness that thrives on sorrow and consumes the mind. She escaped, but the void within her never did. When their paths collide in the midst of a Hollow attack, Ruby and Kaia realize the truth: the Veil’s collapse isn’t random. It’s tied to their very existence. The fire and the void—two forces bound by fate, caught in a cycle of destruction neither of them fully understands. As war looms and the danger spreads, Ruby and Kaia must decide: Will they break the cycle, or will they become the calamity they were born to be? The Veil is breaking, the Hollow are rising, and the only ones who can stop it are the ones the world abandoned.

As he unlocks powers fueled by fear, sorrow, joy, and love , shadowy Hunters chase him down — determined to end his reign before it begins. With betrayal looming from the one he loves most, Kael must decide: will he master his heart’s power, or will it consume him? Emotions are power. Power is deadly.

When life as we know it was eradicated by wars and disease, a man saved many lives by giving them a second chance in a haven, away from misery and pain. Empyrean was the only place that survived the fatal end of the human race for superiority. For generations, the community of survivors was satisfied in their little heaven, but not Beneatha. Driven by her curiosity, Beneatha succeeded in exploring the world behind the walls of Empyrean. Little did she know that everything would change forever, the minute she set foot in the Wasteland. She fell captive in the hands of creatures that have survived the apocalypse, resulting in a never-ending trip of hallucinations that would change everything she once knew about her beloved home. In the mess of her battles, Goliard revealed the truth behind pursuing the dream of survival for his people. With all the attempts Goliard did to turn Beneatha against the only nature she grew up to, doubt and suspension conquer her soul in an ongoing fight over the limits of human nature. With every step of the journey she took, she was bearing an intolerable burden to finally discover the truth that would change the course of the future.

His dragon screamed when their mate was part of the "cargo" they rescued. As the President of Ragtag Motorcycle Club, his loyalty was to the brotherhood. But why does it feel like "Angel" had always been part of his Club? When enemies from the past threatened his club, can Pyr protect his home and his heart? =========== Book cover photo note mine. [Hidebound Older Man VS Two-Faced Heiress: Daddy-Type + Seductress + An Old House on Fire] Everyone in Aethelgard says, a man should marry a woman from the West Family. The eldest daughter of the West Family is gentle and virtuous, a sought-after prize in high society. On the eve of her engagement. Her fiancé cheated on her. Willow West, having played the good girl for so long, decides she's done pretending. Fueled by alcohol, she finds a handsome man. Just one wall away from the scumbag ex and his mistress. The next day, she wakes up to her world collapsing. She had slept with the circle's famous 'older man'—Aiden Pierce, her dear uncle's best friend. Her impression of Aiden Pierce wasn't very good. Years ago, when she was having her first romance, she had tried to sneak a kiss with her young boyfriend, only for Aiden Pierce to report her to her uncle before their lips could even meet. The Aiden Pierce of today is even more dull—celibate and restrained, with everyone from his secretary to his assistant being male, and zero romantic scandals to his name. He's nothing short of a hidebound traditionalist! Willow West wants to escape. Aiden Pierce's well-defined hand grips her chin. "Miss West, a man's virtue is still virtue. You must take responsibility for me." * Aiden Pierce, who had practiced self-restraint for thirty years, was captured by Willow West—a woman gentle and demure in public, yet passionate and daring in private. Everyone thought Willow West was a good girl. Only Aiden Pierce knew that behind closed doors, the young woman not only smoked and drank but was also a cool, badass biker. * The assistant has recently noticed a change in the workaholic President Pierce. Not only is he hitting the gym three times a week, but his style has also shifted from uniform high-end suits to a different streetwear brand for every day of the week. His once stern and unsmiling face now frequently breaks into a smile. Even his eternally unchanged screensaver has been replaced. It's now a picture of a sexy, wavy-haired beauty in a black biker suit, holding a cigarette and sitting on a motorcycle!
