From Absolute Monarchy, to Social Democracy.

From Absolute Monarchy, to Social Democracy.

In the lands of fairy tales and in the lands of myth, there were four kingdoms that were once divided into 20 countries. Those kingdoms united to form 4 kingdoms for unknown reasons; Saura, Ardogan , Xerota and Lynexia. A world war has broken out between the united countries which resulted in people that suffered in environments that were exhausting and almost impossible to bare during that period. The previous warlords were ruthless with the intention of only caring for themselves, had no regard to others. Once those warlords died, new leaders were born into this world which put everything into an uneasy stalemate. It lasted for many years indeed, while the lords along with the folk faced the fact this war was pointless, they declared a ceasefire as a response to these tragedies. Everything fell into a long lasting peace, but that may not last for long as expected. Now, "Social Democracy" or even politics are largely an unspoken topic in this world but most royals have heard the term "Democracy." before in their life but not Social Democracy. Of course, people knew politics but such foreign concept was unknown and also unspoken of. Let's say they didn't know exactly everything about politics of course. However, except for one young boy in the 18's whose name was Nesy Celvius, 18 years old. He has dreams of uniting the four kingdoms, but before he had heard of the stories...He has no idea about it. Nesy also has ideals that might surprise many people and even trigger them as well, so much as to trigger the lords because it is so foreign to them. Where does Nesy come from? Surprise surprise, he is from an other world where the year is 2020 but he got transported into another world because some weird freak accident happened. He couldn't remember what exactly happened there only that he got sucked into a hole. PS: The story was made by me, a 15-year-old kid from Sweden. I'm very engaged into politics and love roleplaying. A-: Uptate, I decided to re-write a part of the first chapter.

OUTCAST OUTLAW

OUTCAST OUTLAW

Set in the post-apocalyptic world where the Old World had already been ravaged hundreds of years ago, but humanity still prevailed and built a new society and a new calendar called the Golden Era. With the dawn of the 756th year of the new calendar, the world is now separated into fifty sectors ruled by a system called the Grade System, where all citizens are given a grade at birth that dictates their social standing, education, profession, and more. When the son of the renowned and influential Voulkasvik Family, one of the oldest bloodlines in the Higher Sectors, is given the lowest possible grade at birth, Zero, his existence threatened the family's pristine image and legacy. All traces of his existence were covered up, and the newborn was abandoned in the outskirts of Paradise, a region of scavengers and remnants that dwell among the old technologies from the Higher Sectors. Found and raised by an old scavenger, the boy lived his childhood unaware of his family and his past. He knew only one name, Lucian, and one fate, to live as an outcast among those considered lower than him. But Lucian's simple life was shattered when he encountered military academy cadets wielding powerful Vanguard Frames who in turn, triggered a long-buried memory and knowledge of forgotten history, along with the truth about the Grade System and the wars between the sectors. Now caught in the middle of a brewing conflict, the abandoned child of Voulkasvik Family must decide whether to accept the life he was given or take on the legacy of the name that was forcefully stripped from him.

One top story in democracy could be the expansion of voting rights in various countries. For example, some nations have been working towards making it easier for marginalized groups to vote, like reducing barriers for the disabled or ensuring equal access to polling stations for all citizens regardless of their economic status. Review of Democracy in Graphic Novels
Well, in my view, a good review of democracy in graphic novels would also consider the cultural context. Different cultures may have different understandings and interpretations of democracy. A graphic novel from one culture might showcase democracy in a way that is unique to that culture's values and history. For instance, it could show how traditional community - based decision - making processes in some cultures relate to modern concepts of democracy. Moreover, the way graphic novels handle political dissent within a democratic framework can be very telling. If they show that dissent is allowed and even healthy for the democratic process, it gives a positive message about the flexibility and strength of democracy.
