A Secretive Deal with My Billionaire Boss

A Secretive Deal with My Billionaire Boss

"Be my girlfriend." Madison froze, her heartbeat deafening in her ears. "Excuse me?" Alexander Knight leaned back in his chair, calm and composed. "One year. You need money for your mother's medical bills. I need someone I can trust, someone discreet. We clearly have chemistry." Madison Harper knows all too well the chaos Alexander Knight leaves in his wake. As the billionaire CEO's personal assistant, she's cleaned up after countless scandals, soothed ex-lovers, and kept his messy private life from spilling into the boardroom. But when one fateful night lands her in Alexander's bed, the dynamics shift dramatically. What begins as a moment of uncontrollable spirals into a neither can resist: Madison needs financial help for her mother's mounting medical bills, and Alexander offers the resources—on the condition she becomes his girlfriend for a year. No strings, no emotions, just business. But as the lines between their professional and private lives blur, Madison's resolve to keep her heart guarded begins to waver. Beneath Alexander's reckless charm lies a magnetic that draws her closer than she ever intended. Just as she starts to believe she might be more than his latest "arrangement," the ghost of Alexander's long-lost first love, Katherine, reappears, threatening to unravel everything they've built. Can Madison protect her heart while navigating this high-stakes game of desire and deception? Or will this with her infamously reckless boss cost her more than she's prepared to lose?

Now, she is homesick with extreme pressure of trying to grow strong, surpressing her from different direction. A normal fifteen years-old schoolgirl, comes across an opportunity to escape the hateful life she was leading. But the question is, was it really worst compared to the new life she was living? The competition grants her the things she wanted, but did it not have her pay the price for her choice? But of course, her reply would be, "I just accidentally joined it. It's no big deal compared to Earth." They are told that the worlds are all just novels they had read back at Earth, but if it were really true, why are certain things not matching with what seemed to be true in the novel compared to its world? As reckless she was, she got summoned into a different dimension where it was clearly uncertain whether she would ever be able to return back to Earth, to her previous life. But the more she got closer to Earth, the more the route got covered in blades. Turns out, the only way back, is to sacrifice the things that made her happy, and go on harsh adventures across the entire universe, while suffering threats from powerful enemies coming from the competition. (Author's note: I plan on making things more emotionally intense in the future.)

" A Promise " was a 20-episode TV series. After two years of polishing, it was officially decided to be adapted from a novel. The play was based on rich and fresh emotional expressions, aiming to interpret the true emotions and real life of modern young people. The plot described a lively and carefree boy who met a beautiful girl in the scenic area of Cloud Cliff Mountain. He was attracted by her melancholy expression and cold attitude, and thus began a story about repairing promises, pursuing ideals, and tempering himself. Competition, competition, pure love novel recommendation
I recommend " The All-Rounder," which was a novel about sports events written by someone who had overcome all obstacles. The protagonist was an all-rounder, proficient in all kinds of sports, and broke records in the Olympics. This was the first creation of the all-around competitive style, and its creativity was superb. The description of the sports background and sports techniques in the book was not bad. It was good to grasp it well, but the character creation was a little weak. There were too many sports events in the later stages, and the emotional description was stiff. However, it was a good niche sports novel with more than 10,000 orders. The first part was exciting and the book was in short supply. I recommend Dleer's " The Ball is Beneath Your Feet " and " Victory is in Your Hand." These two books were sports and football novels. The author really knew football. He could clearly explain the characteristics of the players and the configuration of the team. It was a work with practical content. Although the author's writing style was dry and did not know how to create an atmosphere, these shortcomings could be ignored if one read competitive literature. One could also learn a lot of football knowledge from it. " I Really Don't Want to Be the Director of a Mental Hospital " was a sci-fi evolutionary novel written by Dubhe. The story was interesting, and there were many characters. The character information was clear. Those who liked this type of sci-fi story could read it. League of Legends: I am Captain was written by Wasai, a gaming and esports novel. The protagonist was a golden rookie who took the training system back to the LOL period of S2 and joined We to build an independent team to fight in the league. The novel had its own characteristics. The talents of each team were summarized in place. The golden finger was neither too big nor too small. It looked pretty good. LoL fans could give it a try. " Reborn: Hot Blood Ping-Pong " was a novel about sports events written by Xi Baisha. The protagonist was reborn as a professional ping-pong player, and it was very enjoyable to write. Table tennis was a rare theme, and it was a unique existence on the sports channel. If there was a shortage of books or if you wanted to change your taste, you could watch it. Read more exciting novels for free
