While the dream of an adult, is to become a kid again. The dream of a poor person, is to be so wealthy and powerful, that the whole city would know their names. While the dream of a businessman, is to get the time in a day to sit and talk to his family for a second. Meanwhile, the dream of a missing or abducted person, is to go back home, to their family. And the dream of a teenager, is to simply be able to survive everything they are going through. Sometimes, people don't even know which category they belong to and move the way life moves them. Sometimes, they find a new path which leads them to even more difficulty. And in other times, they accept the hard truth, and choose to die. Thinking about the number of things that could happen instead, made her feel even more guilty for not listening to the advice of never wandering off alone. Now, she is homesick with extreme pressure of trying to grow strong, surpressing her from different direction. A normal fifteen years-old schoolgirl, comes across an opportunity to escape the hateful life she was leading. But the question is, was it really worst compared to the new life she was living? The competition grants her the things she wanted, but did it not have her pay the price for her choice? But of course, her reply would be, "I just accidentally joined it. It's no big deal compared to Earth." They are told that the worlds are all just novels they had read back at Earth, but if it were really true, why are certain things not matching with what seemed to be true in the novel compared to its world? As reckless she was, she got summoned into a different dimension where it was clearly uncertain whether she would ever be able to return back to Earth, to her previous life. But the more she got closer to Earth, the more the route got covered in blades. Turns out, the only way back, is to sacrifice the things that made her happy, and go on harsh adventures across the entire universe, while suffering threats from powerful enemies coming from the competition. (Author's note: I plan on making things more emotionally intense in the future.)

What did semi-self-funded publishing mean? What was the difference between self-funded publishing and semi-self-funded publishing?
Semi-self-funded publishing referred to a book publishing method in which the author paid for the rest of the publishing fees. Compared to self-published books, authors had to pay more for publishing, but the publishing company also had to bear certain responsibilities and obligations to ensure the quality of the book and promote it. Semi-self-funded publishing has the following advantages over fully self-funded publishing: 1. Both parties 'responsibilities: the distribution of responsibilities between the author and the publishing company is more fair. The author can have more full control over his own publishing process, and the publishing company can be better responsible for the quality of the book, publicity and promotion. 2. Cost control: Since the publishing company has to bear part of the cost, the author can control the publishing cost of the book more freely, thus better controlling his own costs. 3. Opportunity to publish: Semi-self-funded publishing allows authors to have more opportunities to publish their own works to expand their audience. However, semi-self-funded publishing also had some disadvantages. For example, the author had to bear higher publishing fees, and the publishing company had certain requirements for the quality of the book. They had to meet certain word count and style restrictions. Therefore, authors needed to carefully consider their own situation and publishing needs when choosing to publish semi-self-funded.

Are there royalties for self-funded books?
Self-funded books generally did not have royalties. The publishing house would not pay the author any royalties or royalties, but the author would bear the publishing costs himself. The remuneration for self-published books mainly came from the author's own investment and sales income. Although self-funded publishing may not have royalties in the traditional sense, it could still bring economic returns. Self-funded publishing provided a platform for authors to showcase their personal brand and academic reputation. By increasing their popularity and influence, they brought more opportunities and sources of income. In addition, the sales revenue from self-funded publishing was also a potential economic return. Therefore, authors should consider financial returns, copyright protection, and marketing strategies when deciding to publish at their own expense to ensure the feasibility and commercial benefits of the publishing plan.

Notes on Self-funded Books
There were the following precautions for self-funded books: 1. ** Price **: You should know the cost structure of the self-funded book, such as the book number fee, review fee, design fee, printing fee, etc. The current book number fee is generally 40,000 - 60,000 yuan, and the review fee is calculated according to the number of words on the page.(About 20 yuan per thousand words), design and publishing fees (about 3000 yuan for 200 black and white pages), printing fees (including paper, about 15000 yuan for 3000 copies of black and white 16-fold), the total cost was about 60,000 - 80,000 yuan, to avoid being confused by the low price, because there may be problems with the low price. 2. ** Regarding the publishing process **: - ** Manuscript preparation **: Prepare the manuscript, including personal introduction, content introduction, and several chapters after the first draft is completed, or prepare relevant content according to the requirements of the topic selection plan, such as the title of the book (you can prepare a few more), genre, author introduction, content introduction, total number of words in the manuscript, target audience, table of contents, sample sheet (3000 - 5000 words that can reflect the author's level and characteristics), etc. - ** Choice of publishing house or publishing company **: If you choose to contact a publishing house to publish, you need to carefully select a suitable publishing house because the publishing house rarely contacts individuals after 2018. You can choose from many publishing houses according to the genre of the book and find an editor to send the topic selection plan. You can also find a few more publishing houses to compare the prices. If you choose a publishing company to represent you, you should also choose carefully. - ** Title Selection Report **: After filling in the title selection form and submitting it to the publishing house, it needs to go through three levels of argumentation, namely, the editor's own argumentation, the editorial department's argumentation, and the publishing house's argumentation. - ** Third review, third proofreading and quality inspection **: You need to cooperate with the publishing house or company to carry out third review and third proofreading, and modify the manuscript according to the modification opinions. If the quality inspection after the third proofreading is not passed, you need to return to modify it. - ** Book number and CIP-application **: You must be clear about the book number and CIP-application process in the publishing process. The application for the book number needs to be completed after the previous process. The CIP-application is completed by the publishing house, which takes about 2 - 4 weeks. 3. ** About the publishing company **: - ** Reading the manuscript **: If the publishing company says that the book can be published without reading the manuscript, it is not reliable because not all works are suitable for publication. - ** Promise of publicity **: If the publishing company promises to publicize the book but does not see the actual case, it is likely to be a false promise. The publicity after the book is published is more important for cultural communication. - ** Company establishment time **: Pay attention to the establishment time of the publishing company. If the establishment time is very short, it may be unstable or have limited professional ability. Also pay attention to some companies that have been established for a long time, but the legal person and business scope have only recently changed to the current book publishing situation. - ** Reputation **: Check the online reputation of the publishing company and avoid companies that have a lot of bad reviews or legal lawsuits. 4. ** Other aspects **: If it's an overseas or international publication, if you just want to publish a book as a souvenir and give a small number of sample books to your friends and relatives, it's fine if you don't circulate and sell it on a large scale. Otherwise, it's not possible. Moreover, the overseas publication fee is about 20,000 to 30,000 yuan.

Some problems with self-funded publishing
Self-publishing is a relatively complicated process. Here are some questions you might need to consider: [1. Author Selection: First, you need to choose a new author.] This might involve searching for multiple editors to compare their services and works, and considering factors such as their pricing, publication cycles, and available editorial resources. 2. Selection of works: Once you have chosen a publication, you need to choose a work that suits you. This required consideration of factors such as the type of publication, theme, style, and target audience. 3. Print and Binding: You need to confirm the printing and binding specifications of the work, such as paper, word count, page count, layout, etc. This may require discussion with the editor or the editor to ensure that the work meets their requirements. 4. Date of publication: You need to negotiate with the publishing company for the publication date and ensure that you submit the work on time. He also needed to confirm the publication date to ensure that the work could reach the readers in time. 5. Price and distribution: You need to determine the price of the work and consider how to distribute it to a wider audience. This could involve advertising on social media, building a bookstore network, or working with other editors. 6. Protection of copyrights: It is necessary to ensure that the copyrights of the works are sufficiently protected to prevent any incidents of copyright violation after publication. This may involve signing a copyright transfer agreement with the publishing company or purchasing the copyright. 7. Post-publication work: Once the work is completed and submitted to the publishing company, you need to follow up on the publication progress and deal with any post-publication issues such as revision, editing, proofreading, error correction, publication certification, etc. It should be noted that when self-publishing works, you have to bear relatively high risks and responsibilities, including copyright fees, printing and publishing fees, distribution fees, and copyright litigation. Therefore, it was necessary to carefully assess the risks and benefits and ensure that the work met the requirements and standards of the publisher.
