Kurosaki Academy: The Competition! (Forsaken Divinity)

Hey there, my name's Mazoku, and this is the story about how me and my friends became the power kings.

"Today is the first day of our power training.." I thought. "HEY!!" yelled Ichiro. Ichiro is one of my longest lasting friends; I knew him since high school. Me and Ichiro got on the bus. An announcement came up broadcasting throughout the entire city "The Power Kings will be retiring in 1 year, Power King entrance exams will take place this November 2nd."

The Power Kings are the people who protect all beings throughout the world. Anyways, back to Ichiro, Ichiro may have the same last name as the Power King Ashiro, but he doesn't know for sure who his father is. Ichiro was lead to believe that his father died during The Power War. The Power War was a 3-year lasting war, and me and Ichiro were born during the battle, where humans and demons fought for land. The Power Kings supposedly sacrificed themselves, apparently. Anyways, back to my story. The bus stopped at Kurosaki Academy.

Principal Burr announced the classrooms. "Class 1C!" we heard our names. "Ichiro, we'll be doing power training together!" I said. "Yeah, and i'll be the Power King!' expressed Ichiro "No I will!" I yelled "NO I WILL!!" screamed Ichiro. This went on for a while.. "Will you shut up, what are y'all arguing about?" said Negiro. "THIS RETARD SAID HE'S GOING TO BE THE NEXT POWER KING!" Me and Ichiro yelled. "Y'all do realize there's like 4 Power Kings, right? Not to mention, do you even know what you're saying? The Power Kings are like super duper crazy powerful!" explained Negiro. "I guess your right.. but still, I WILL BE ONE OF THE POWER KINGS NEXT YEAR!!!!" I yelled. We walked to the classroom, and met our teacher, Mr. Silvas. He's really nice, also has some pretty amazing powers. The power to turn into a chemical monster.

Seats were assigned. I sat next to Ichiro, and negiro sat infront of us. However, this one kid stood out to me. He was quiet, and didn't have much friends. So I spoke to him, "Hey, what's your name?" I asked. "Kaito. Kaito Tanaka" he responded peacefully. "Ok class, today we begin power training." said Mr. Silvas. "Up to this point, y'all never knew how to activate your powers. Now, what you wanna do, is just clear your mind entirely. And release all energy!" Explained Mr. Silvas. Everybody awakened their power. Ichiro awakened some crazy power boosting power, Negiro awakened something similar, but different hairstyle & color. Kaito awakened a green aura that would heal everyone. But here I was, looking like a complete idiot, not having a power. The whole class glared at me, thought I could be the only one in the world without any kind of power.

"No no no no no no, this can't be!!" I said in my head. For all of the 6 hours, everybody was training how to utilize their newfound abilities. But for me, I sorta just put my head on the desk, while everyone was outside.. Mr. Silvas walked up to me. "If you don't awaken a power, you'll have to be kicked out of this academy." said Mr. Silvas. I didn't respond, because I knew all hope was lost.. School ended, and I just walked to my house slowly. I immediately fell asleep.

Until, I woke up, at around 3 in the morning. There was sirens and people screaming. I went outside to see what was going on out there. Some crazy person was engulfing everything in ice.

I ran up to him, "SHUT UP, I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!!!!!" I screamed. He shot me with ice, and I thought I was gonna die! I got in some sort of dream sequence, a black room.

A devilish figure approached me. I get back in the real world, and suddenly..
