And the protagonist happened to be her own cousin, who also killed her at the near end of the novel. *** (Prologue) Listen... No one is judging no one here. And so am I. The world has been cruel these days. Being modern means being rude to people on the street who are below your rank—That is what they believe. I find this all frustrating, why move with a state of mind that could as well kill you someday. You don't know if this person is a lawyer, a far relative, a doctor, a politician.
