The Love Planner
My name is Elara Ashford. I’m a psychology grad student from a top university, and I’m currently running a little shop called Love & Co.
“I heard you guarantee results?”
The girl in front of me, dressed head to toe in Lolita style, is my new client, Seraphina Sterling.
“We do,” I answered. “And there’s one more guarantee: absolute success.”
Satisfied with my confirmation, Seraphina pulled out two photos and a thick bundle of red cash.
“Here’s the deposit, and here’s the guy. In two months, I want to see him happily attached.”
After sending off this refreshingly straightforward girl, I picked up the photo of the man.
Long, narrow phoenix eyes, sensual gaze, a roguish charm that practically radiated off the paper.
I felt confident. Slinging my bag over my shoulder, I walked out while texting Lydia.
“ONS. My treat.”
ONS—short for one-night stand. Here, day or night, it’s all about indulgence.
“This guy’s not bad at all. With a face that flirty, he still needs outside help?” Lydia Hawthorne frowned after looking at the photo of my new target.
“Probably all looks and no stamina,” I muttered.
The moment the words left my mouth, someone brushed past us, carrying a faint scent of mint.
Lydia stared after him for a moment, then said, “Elara, I think that’s your new client.”
I froze. No way. That would mean I’d just made a terrible first impression.
Though, to be fair, he might not have heard my little dig.
Fueled by alcohol and impulse, I walked over and sat down beside him. The second I did, he subtly shifted away, leaving a clear gap between us, his cool gaze sliding over to me.
Only then did I realize he looked nothing like a playboy in real life.
Sharp, defined brows, straight nose, thin lips, and those peach blossom eyes… only now they were filled with ice.
“Mr. Sterling, hello. I’m Elara. Your niece, Miss Sterling, hired me to be your dating strategist. This is our first meeting—please take care of me.”
