House Of Puppets

House Of Puppets

Arthur Moreau disappeared during a live broadcast. No warning. No transition. No last words. One moment he was finishing a world event in front of fifty thousand viewers. The next, he was gone, and what arrived somewhere else was Gepetto: his character, his creation, the most feared Marionettist ever built in a game where power was the only language that mattered. The world that caught him is not new to collapse. Gods have existed here, and some of them have died. What stands now is only the latest arrangement of a cycle that never needed him. Elysion is a Republic in the way that a cracked foundation is still a building. The institutions function. The titles exist. But beneath the gas lamps and the steam columns and the elevated rails connecting district to district, the actual structure is simpler: those with enough power do what they want, and everyone else absorbs the cost. The working class breathes chemical residue and calls it employment. The middle class negotiates in a market that has stopped rewarding negotiation, trains for credentials that no longer open doors, and moves forward because stopping is worse. There is no king here. There are only people with enough accumulated weight to act as though the question of permission does not apply to them. The Church of the Solar God holds the whole thing together, which is not a metaphor. A population that does not share language, origin, or history requires something to organize around, and the Church understood this long before anyone thought to ask. The Solar God is not a symbol. He walks. He acts. He has reasons of his own. And now, Players have begun to appear. Not as heroes. Not as chosen figures. As variables carrying power without understanding the system they have entered. The world does not pause for them. It absorbs them, bends around them, and continues. Gepetto does not try to fight it. He studies it. While others assert themselves through force, faith, or the assumption that visibility equals strength, he builds something quieter. Not an army. Not a faction. A structure: distributed, patient, invisible until it is not. A web that does not need to be seen to function. The skills are real now. The strings are real. And what they touch does not reset. House of Puppets is a story about control, belief, and the cost of acting in a world indifferent to your intentions. It follows a man who does not seek to win, but to understand the rules well enough that losing becomes unlikely. Because the puppeteer pulls the strings. But in a world this old, someone is always watching. A word from the author: House of Puppets is not a standard webnovel. Not power fantasy. You won't get that constant power escalation hit or that achievement system satisfaction. What you get is slow burn, structured more like a novel than serialized content. Each chapter accumulates. Each arc tightens. Tension builds and doesn't release until it's supposed to. The work touches on philosophy, politics, economy, metaphysics, theology. Everything woven into narrative, not explained to you. If you've already read Lord of Mysteries, Reverend Insanity, A Song of Ice and Fire, works that trust readers to hold complexity, you already know what we're trying to do here. The ambition is simple and honest: get there. Write something that redefines what this genre can do. I can't promise we make it. I'm a beginner without experience and this work is experimental. But I can promise I'll give everything I have trying.

Metal Puppets

Metal Puppets

The global war ended two hundred years ago, not with a bang, but with a whimper. Nations fought until resources were almost completely exhausted. By the time a cease-fire was called, the ability to return to the pre-war industrial era was nearly impossible. With the lack of resources, humanity declined to a quasi-medieval society of city states. Now 200 years later "Metalmancers" or those with the ability to control and shape metal have started to appear. With these Metalmancers and their abilities to salvage and possibly operate pre-war technology, forces have started to come into play to vie for control, once again sending this scarred planet into war. Mand and Val are two such Metalmancers who have been living on their own for the past several years. With new forces in play and old enemies on their trail, will they be able to lean on each other to survive this new emerging world? ** It's really hard to fly a dragon made of metal. They could of made a bull, a horse, or really any simple device that could haul a wedge-shaped plow, but someone insisted that they try and build a bloody dragon. That someone now had her hands wrapped around Mand's waist and was having the time of her life. "See, I told you this was a great idea," Val exclaimed. "We'll have that field done in no time!" "You're not the one trying to steer this thing," Mand returned. "Now be a good sister and lower the tail so we can get to work." Mand felt Val shift her weight and suddenly become very still as she began to concentrate. Inside the shell of the dragon, a complex system of gears began to whirr and rotate. The dragon's tail began to curve beneath the belly of the construct, until the wedge-shaped tip curved towards the ground. Mand had her work cut out for her as well. She focused her mind on pumping the dragon's wings to keep aloft. The descended tail made the whole operation twice as taxing as it was before. The tail clicked in place and Mand began their pass towards the field below. "Are you sure this will work?" she questioned her sister. "It's my butt too," Val pouted. "You should have more faith in my plan!" Mand brought the dragon closer and closer to the earth. She began to sweat as the ground inched closer. Finally, at the edge of the field, the tip of the tail sunk into the soft earth, plowing a furrow as the dragon swooped along. When the dragon reached the far end of the field, Mand pumped the wings to get them back in the air. It was only when she brought the dragon around for another pass that she realized how hard she was breathing. "See, I told you this would work!" Val shouted happily, kicking her legs out as they approached the field once again. Mand felt darkness overtake her.

Puppets of Faith: Theory of Communal Strife

Puppets of Faith: Theory of Communal Strife

The sublimity of Muhammad's preaching in Mecca and the severity of his sermons in Medina make Islam a Janus-faced faith that forever bedevils the mind of the Musalmans. This thought-provoking work, besides dissecting the anatomy of Islam, steeped in the Quran, seeks to depict the psyche of the Musalmans, shaped by the proclivities of their prophet, vicissitudes of his life and the attitudes of his detractors, which the mechanism of their umma perpetuates. More to the point, aided by “I’m Ok – You’re Ok”, the path-breaking work of Thomas A. Harris and Roland E Miller’s “Muslim Friends–Their Faith and Feeling”, this book, for the first time ever, psycho-analyzes the imperatives of the Muslim upbringing, which has the potential to turn a faithful and a renegade alike into a fidayeen. Also, apart from delving into the ironies of the faiths that affected the fate of the peoples, eclipsed the cultures of communes, altered the course of history and afflict the politics of the day, this book examines how the sanãtana 'Hindu' dharma came to survive in India, in spite of the combined onslaught of Islam and the Christianity on Hinduism for over a millennium. This book is for those who wish to be aware of the follies of their faith and the foibles of others to lighten the burden of dogma and reduce the baggage of prejudice postulated in its thirty-four well-structured chapters. Also, besides providing a panoramic view of the Indian history, this thought-provoking book appraises the way Gandhi, Nehru, Patel, Azad, Ambedkar, Indira Gandhi, Narasimha Rao, Vajpayee, Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, Narendra Modi et al made or unmade the post-colonial India. Possibly in a new genre, this free ebook is a book for our times.

Humans Controlled by Puppets
I recommend " Opening a Dungeon in Muye " by Red Ball Chili Sauce. This was Naruto's derivative doujinshi. The underground city had descended into the Ninja Realm, and the " Great Will " had invited the adventurers of the Ninja Realm to challenge the dungeon. Xilan transmigrated to become a male protagonist, 27 years old, with special abilities. There were also familiar characters such as Orochimaru and Tsunei who became adventurers. The character's image was clear, and it was very interesting to hear Ban shout,"Don't be a hooligan." The book list commented that it was very creative to open a Dungeon in Naruto, with the protagonist being the Great Will fragment as the planner. " Elf Shorts Kid " was not bad either. It was a Pokémon Doujinshi novel written by Spicy Bean Sauce. The main character, Mu Mu Liang Ren, was 13 years old and was the first elf, Bobo. The story was heartwarming, and the description of Pokémon was detailed. The part where Lada provoked him was extremely vivid. The style of writing was fresh, and it took the path of commoners to show the culture of the elf world. Although the pace was slow, it was very healing. There was also 'Lord of the Nation: My Troops Can Upgrade to Fallen Angels' by Long Qingwen. The world changed. At the age of 18, he awakened the ability of a Beast Tamer Lord. Ren Qi recruited Mutated Succubi at the beginning to level up to Fallen Angels. Others thought that Succubi were weak, but in the end, his territory expanded to Warring States level, and the Fallen Angels around him were super powerful. One Piece: This Sword Hero Is Too Meaty was also worth watching. It was written by Pan-Fried Tea Bun. The male protagonist, Long Che, was a sword hero who could control gravity and was extremely domineering on the battlefield. The setting of the opening game was very attractive. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>

In novels, fools and puppets
In the story of the original gods, among the eleven executors of the fools, the puppet was named Sandone, a native of Winter. She was ranked seventh among the eleven executives of the Fools. Her image was a loli sitting on a puppet. Many of the mechanisms of the Fools were created by her. She often concentrated on research to create more mechanisms to help the Fools. There were speculations that her identity might be Lan's sister, Marianne. Lan was the founder of the Fengdan Academy of Science. More than 400 years ago, she invented a set of energy modules called the controllable Awn Desolation Energy. Up to now, most of Fengdan's clockwork mechanisms relied on this system to operate. Both the puppet and Lan were good at making machinery. There were even speculations that the puppet's body was controlled by Lan, who had already ascended mechanically. A part of Alan's soul was in the little girl's body or in the huge doll next to the little girl. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>

Puppets turn into zombies
I recommend a few zombie novels. " Spirit-Devouring Zombies Travel to the Other World " was written by the troublesome little ghost. Zombies had souls and were reborn in the other world. The main character changed from a scientist to a zombie that could absorb people's souls. He even obtained strength from the mummy. It was similar to the Heart Sucking Technique. This setting was super cool. Zombies Loves Robbery was a very creative work. After the main character becomes a white-haired zombie, he can rob anything. The blood essence of cultivators, storage bags, pills, love, etc. The plot is strange. The main character is full of drama, and there is also the setting of a perverted zombie. 'Zombies, This Scamming Good', written by Ruo Qiongtu. The female protagonist had an immortal constitution, while the male protagonist was a zombie. He had a cycle of rebirth. It was a cute post-apocalyptic novel. Zombie Asking, a work by Lawrence Chou. The otaku had transmigrated into a little zombie, and he had made a name for himself with the [Taiyin Refined Form]. Although it was a routine, it was still considered a classic. Zombie Dumb Cutie, written by the Cat Next Door. After Meng Xiaodai turned into a zombie, she was pestered by Taoist masters, vampires, and female ghosts. The female protagonist was very silly and cute. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>
