Mais plus elle aide les morts à résoudre leurs affaires inachevées, plus elle découvre que certains secrets devraient rester enterrés… Et que quelqu’un d’autre dans la ville semble avoir les mêmes capacités qu’elle. PERSONNAGES PRINCIPAUX Love Hensley : protagoniste. Sarcastique, solitaire, mais attachante. Sa relation avec la mort est plus saine qu’avec les vivants. Jean-Claude : son oncle. Il cache un lourd passé et semble en savoir plus sur les dons de Love qu’il ne le laisse paraître. Capitaine Mendy : policier mi-croyant mi-sceptique, fatigué de tout, qui commence à suspecter que Love l’aide à résoudre ses enquêtes de manière "non naturelle". Margaux : fantôme récurrent. Ancienne infirmière morte dans des conditions étranges. Elle est sarcastique et devient la voix intérieure de Love (qu’elle n’a pas demandée). Suicide : le chat. Il ne parle pas, mais il a vu des choses. Beaucoup de choses.
