It depends on how it's presented. If it has a simple and engaging plot, along with clear explanations of Superman's world, then it would be suitable. However, if it's too focused on references to the 1978 version that new fans may not be familiar with, it could be a bit confusing at first. But overall, it has the potential to be a great entry point for new Superman enthusiasts.

It's hard to say for sure. The decision might depend on various factors like the storyline and creative direction of the comic publishers.

There were many villains in Superman anime movies, such as Lex Luthor, who fought with Superman and caused a lot of trouble. Brainiac was also a villain. He was also mentioned as the villain in Body of Steel 2. There were also related plots in the games Injustice League 2 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The Mechanical Bio-Superman, formerly known as Hank Henshaw, became the villain during the reign of Superman in 1993. Troublemaker aka Mr. Mxy Zpt Lyk, he came from the Fifth Dimension and came to Earth once every 90 days. He used pranks or plans to distort reality to make Superman's life miserable. Only by making him say his name backwards and sending him back to the Fifth Dimension could he be defeated. The Metal Man (John Cabourn) appeared to be Lex Luthor's minion, but he was a great threat to the Kryptonians. The underground saboteurs in The Incredibles were also villains. Both Superman and Wonder Woman fought Doomsday and worked together to fight him in different stories.

One of the best is 'Action Comics' which reimagined Superman's early days in a really cool way. It showed a younger, more brash Superman fighting for the little guy in a gritty Metropolis.
