Some science fiction novels had settings about mutants. For example,"My Girlfriend Is a Zombie" was a science fiction novel about the apocalypse. It set the scene of the creatures mutating after the apocalypse. Although it did not directly mention mutated people, there were four kinds of creatures: zombies, mutated beasts, underground creatures, and ability users. This setting showed the mutation of creatures in special environments. There was also the novel "Fierce Players". The protagonist was adventuring in different scripted mission backgrounds (including the real world, parallel worlds, ancient and modern, foreign worlds, digital worlds, high-dimensional surfaces, etc.). There might be sci-fi elements involving human mutation. In addition, novels with settings such as entering the apocalyptic game, such as the novel in reference 2, did not directly mention mutants. However, the various abilities in the game world and the special settings of the apocalyptic environment also hinted at the possibility of various changes in creatures in specific sci-fi situations. However, some viewers pointed out that there were some problems with the film. The plot was a little straightforward, lacking enough twists and turns, making people feel that it was simple. In terms of character selection, there was controversy. For example, Wu Jiakai's Zhang Lingyu did not match the anime image, and Li Wanda's Feng Baobao, although her appearance matched, her temperament was different and her martial strength was weakened. Although the special effects took a lot of effort, it was accused of neglecting the narrative. There were also some more "edge" shots that were criticized.
