Kuro adalah seorang remaja yang berusaha mencari tahu siapa sebenarnya jati dirinya, dalam kompleksnya kehidupan beserta seluk beluknya, di tengah konflik berkepanjangan empat negeri besar yang tak berujung antara negeri Tanah Utara, Kayu, Pasir dan Air Selatan. Dia tumbuh tanpa orang tua yang sejak kecil dirawat dan dibesarkan oleh seseorang yang dipanggilnya dengan sebutan kakek, di sebuah tempat sunyi dan tersembunyi yang dikenal dengan nama Telaga Sore. Di tengah perjalanan, ia bertemu dengan bangsawan baik hati dan berbudi bernama Sima, yang membawanya bertemu dengan seorang Dayang centil serta dua bersaudara dan bersama sama berpetualang dalam dunia baru yang untuk pertama kalinya ia kenal.

So im sorry if the pace is too fast or if there is a considerable number of spelling mistakes. However since i intend for this to be a very long story, my writing should get better with time.
