APOCALYPSE TRİALS
Humanity did not experience the apocalypse all at once; extinction came slowly, mercilessly, and irreversibly.
First, the fields dried up. Then the rivers became polluted. Clean water sources dwindled, diseases spread, and cities began to collapse one after another. As the authority of nations weakened, old monetary systems completely lost their meaning. There was only one thing people could rely on to survive in this new world: System Credits.
In this new era, a loaf of bread was no longer an ordinary piece of food. It had become valuable enough for people to risk their lives for it. For a single bottle of clean water, families were forced to sacrifice everything they had saved over the years. Hunger, poverty, and despair became humanity’s shared fate. While the weak died in the streets, the strong used the resources in their hands to become the rulers of the new order.
Just as humanity was about to surrender completely to hopelessness, a mysterious System descended from the sky. This System began presenting different trial worlds to the entire world every week. People were not forced to participate in these trials; however, for those who refused, the end was often starvation and a slow death. Those who entered had a chance to obtain food, water, weapons, potions, stat points, powers, and System Credits.
But the price of that chance was extremely high.
Every trial was a bloody test where death waited at every step.
The trial worlds were completely different from one another. Sometimes people struggled to survive in forests filled with savage beasts. Sometimes they searched for resources in abandoned cities. Sometimes they fled from death in regions overrun by zombies. Arid deserts, swamp lands, kingdoms covered in water, and countless worlds whose names were still unknown placed a new life-and-death struggle before humanity every week.
In this chaotic age, Fang Yunting is forced to enter his first trial in order to keep his family alive. At the beginning, his goal is not to become a great hero. He is merely an ordinary young man who wants to provide food, water, and a safe future for his family. However, when he steps into his first trial, he realizes that his fate is far different from that of ordinary people.
The permanent talent Fang Yunting possesses is unlike any other ability in the world. Every time he enters a trial world, he obtains the highest-level unique talent most suitable for that world’s rules. In a forest survival world, he may gain a power specialized for survival. In a zombie city, he may receive an ability that gives him an advantage against deadly creatures. In a desert world, he may obtain a special advantage that allows him to find resources. Every new world grants him a new peak-level talent.
And that is not all.
Fang Yunting also possesses a personal, unlimited storage space that belongs only to him. Through this space, he can safely store the food, water, weapons, loot, and valuable resources he finds within the trial worlds. While others struggle with limited carrying capacity, he has the chance to gather resources for his own future and for his family. This ability is one of the greatest advantages that separates him from ordinary trial participants.
However, great power also brings great danger.
In the world of the System, anyone who achieves high rankings, obtains great rewards, and rises too quickly will inevitably attract attention. Guilds, powerful families, dark organizations, and hunters driven by greed begin to watch potential threats like Fang Yunting. Some want to pull him to their side, while others want to destroy him before he has the chance to grow.
In this new era, Fang Yunting must fight not only the monsters within the trial worlds, but also the greed of humans in the real world. In the post-apocalyptic world, mercy is seen by many as weakness. In this order, where the strong make the laws and the weak are trampled beneath them, even surviving is a victory in itself.
