I looked at a strange girl in the middle of the crowd as me and my bandmates where performing on stage I looked at her with curiousity as she stood out from the crowd as I continued to sing I kept my eyes on her as a tear fell from her mysterous eyes... she  slowly turned around and disappeared in the crowd...I had to focus and give my best for my fans but she was all I could think about ... who was she??  why do I feel like I know her???  why was she crying???....is this what you call deja vu?

Teardrops are precious things. They are proof of struggles, of hardships, of the strength required to get through them. But for some creatures, they are precious in an even more literal sense of the word. After all, even humans know of mermaids' tears. The depths of the sea hold many secrets. Years ago, one merman learned the hard way why they remain hidden under the waters. In the year 2018 though, times are different. One young man must decide whether to follow in his ancestors' footsteps and keep his lips sealed or grow to trust his new found family. There was a spark of writing creativity, a spark only. Then another. And another. Nudges to think about something unexpected. This is a collection of my mini stories, some of them even shorter than that, inspired by writing prompts found in various places. Some might be inspired by some scenes in books written by amazingly talented authors. They were created in an environment free from pressure and deadlines, allowing me to capture the thoughts that flowed into my mind after reading the scene or the prompt. The world is not a peaceful place as it may seem . There are many dark secrets hidden in this world which has not yet been discovered by the humans . In this story we will follow the life of a boy named Tatsuya who was born with a broken gate . How will he survive in the world full of danger?
