Despite the dramatic result, the 2012-13 Premier League trophy returned to Old Trafford, marking the end of a triumphant season. But the real shockwaves came after the match. At a packed press conference, Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary manager who had just completed his 1,500th game in charge of Manchester United, made two stunning announcements that sent the football world into a frenzy. First, he revealed his retirement, marking the end of an era that had defined English football for over two decades. Second, he named his chosen successor: Tiger King. The announcement left the football world in disbelief. Who was Tiger King? Where had he come from? And why had Ferguson, the most successful manager in football history, entrusted him with the future of Manchester United? On that day, the footballing landscape changed forever.
