Title: Steelborn Commander
Elias Stahl wakes in the body of a runaway noble son on the edge of a collapsing war front, surrounded by abandoned soldiers, broken machines, starving civilians, and commanders who have already fled.
His only weapon is a damaged light assault tank, the M-17 Gravehound. His only advantage is the War Archive, a brutal military system that offers doctrine, blueprints, diagnostics, and warnings, but never free armies, easy victories, or mercy from bad decisions.
On Karthas Island, steel, magic, hunger, politics, and old bloodlines decide who survives. Elias refuses to spend lives cheaply, even when every road demands sacrifice. He will pull soldiers from broken trenches, defend civilians no crown bothered to save, rebuild machines from scrap, and turn an abandoned army into something the world cannot ignore.
But survival is only the first battle.
Every rescued life creates a debt. Every law he writes becomes a promise. Every victory draws the attention of empires, guilds, nobles, assassins, mages, merchants, and the family still searching for the son who ran away.
A commander who spends lives cheaply has already lost.
Elias Stahl intends to win without becoming the kind of monster war rewards. this is a work in progress I'll only post some of the later chapters to see what people think of the idea there will be lots of mistakes I'm not smart I didn't study for anything like this I'm just a regular guy with a lot of work trying to see what others think about it so yeah hope you enjoy the idea I had when I was looking at novels and thank you for your time
