france x canada fanfic

Love and romance can be a theme as well. Maybe a French exchange student falling in love with a Canadian local. There's also the theme of heritage. Characters exploring their French - Canadian roots or how the French heritage is still alive in Canada today. And sometimes, there are themes related to art and cuisine, as both France and Canada have rich traditions in these areas, and fanfics might explore how they blend or contrast in a fictional story.

One popular type of France x Canada fanfic might involve historical interactions between the two countries during the colonial era. For example, stories could focus on French settlers in Canada and their relationships with the native populations, as well as how the French influence shaped Canada's culture, like in Quebec. Another aspect could be modern - day diplomatic relations turned into fictional friendships or collaborations between characters representing France and Canada. Maybe a story about French and Canadian chefs coming together to create a new cuisine.

Perhaps it could be a story about a French artist who moves to Canada for inspiration. There, he discovers a unique lemon - scented flower that only grows in a certain part of Canada. He meets a Canadian botanist who is researching this flower. Together, they embark on a journey to understand the flower better and in the process, they fall in love. Their relationship is like the unique blend of French sophistication and Canadian simplicity.

In the fanfic, the Canadian landscape like the vast Rocky Mountains could be the backdrop for a hiking adventure of a French and a Canadian character. They might discover a hidden lemon grove in a valley, which is a surprise as lemons are not typically associated with Canadian landscapes. This could add an element of mystery and beauty to the story.

Hard to give a precise number. It could vary greatly based on the level of scientific activity and media attention in those locations.

One idea could be France taking on the role of a mentor to baby Canada. He could teach Canada about art, cooking, and the French language. Another plot could involve France trying to protect baby Canada from the chaos of the Hetalia world. Maybe some other countries misunderstand Canada's relationship with France and France has to clear things up.

At first, it might be a bit of a one - sided relationship where France is very enthusiastic about baby Canada. France would probably dote on baby Canada, showing him all the wonderful things about France. As baby Canada grows, he might start to become more independent but still have a soft spot for France. He might learn to appreciate France's culture while also asserting his own Canadian identity.

Vichy France was a complicated existence. From a political point of view, it was a regime established in Vichy, central France, after the French government led by Pétain surrendered to Germany during the period of France's occupation by Germany. The official name of the country was the State of France. It had its own administrative, judicial, national defense, diplomatic and other powers. At that time, it was recognized by many French and the international community (except Britain). Most countries, including the United States, recognized it as the government representing France. And from this perspective, it could be seen as a continuation of the Third Republic of France. However, it was also a puppet regime that cooperated with Germany under the German occupation. It cooperated with the German occupation authorities to assist in the capture of the Arabs and other "bad elements", and its army sometimes confronted the allies. As the war situation developed, the Free France movement led by Charles de Gaulle rose and eventually became the representative of France, and Vichy France was destroyed. Therefore, it could not be simply determined whether Vichy France was France or not. It was a form of regime that had a certain degree of local French dominance and was partially recognized, but cooperated with the invaders. Well, 'The French Connection' is also a good one. It has a simple yet engaging plot. It starts with the reader accidentally bumping into France in a French market. From there, it builds a connection between them through various cultural experiences they share together.

Another theme is national identity. Fanfics may explore how Canada maintains its unique identity among other countries. It could be about Canada's French - English duality, its indigenous cultures, and how these elements shape its character in the Countryhumans world. This can involve stories of Canada trying to preserve its traditions while also adapting to the changing international scene.
