In Indian mythology, the Three Aspects Deity suppressed the current age. Many Immortals cursed all the gods. Asuras, after millennia of arduous cultivation, would always attack the Heavenly Realm and beat up the Heavenly Emperor upon receiving a boon. "Arduous cultivation, receiving boons, beating up the Heavenly Emperor, why is Indian mythology always like this? I'm the one who gets beaten and suffers; I quit!" Indra, who had reincarnated as the Heavenly Emperor, was furious. And so... "Whoever loves being the Heavenly Emperor, be my guest; I'm not going to work!" Indra said. "Hey, hey, hey, the script isn't supposed to go like this," the Destroyer God Shiva said, full of question marks. "You've performed great meritorious deeds in the past. This position of the Heavenly Emperor is rightfully yours. If not, there will be chaos in the world!" the Protector God Vishnu said anxiously. "No, Heavenly Emperor, I'll give you a boon. Go quickly and beat up the Asura!" the Creator God Brahma spoke thus.

A nameless man awakens in a world he does not recognize, inheriting the life of a dead dock worker. With no past, no identity, and no place in this unfamiliar world, he must decide what kind of life he will build from the remains of another’s. This is the first draft version of the story. The writing quality is lower than the planned final version that will be rewritten after this draft is completed. Read with that in mind. Note: 1st – Starting from chapter 27 onward, I will write the plot with more summarized events, minimal dialogue, and fewer internal thoughts. Once that draft is done, I can focus on fleshing out the characters, environment, and other details. 2nd – After chapter 50, I will begin adding chapters that specifically explain the things behind the story, mostly for future reference after rewriting the whole story. IT WILL HAVE A LOT OF SPOILERS. There will also be things I wish to add in the final version as well.

Vihaan has always been good at keeping things simple-his job, his routine, his life. He's 27, closeted, and completely inactive in the dating scene. Not because he's afraid, but because he's never been in a hurry for love. Crushes come and go, feelings fade, and life moves on. That's how it's always been. Until he meets Mehul.

They first met on a train. She just came out from retirement of being a hermit while he was traveling incognito. He was reading a book when she interrupted his concentration. “Do you want to know how fast I read?” The man looked up, his charcoal eyes peered at her, an eyebrow was raised. How shameless can she be? But whatever, she needed to read that book. “I can finish it in thirty minutes.” “So do I. If you stop talking to me,” the man once again buried his head on the book. “I can give you a very detailed book review?” The man continued reading, treating her like an air. She pursed her lips, thinking how she can convince the man. “Giving up so soon? I thought you want to read this book?” The man threw her a glance, raising the book in front of her face, tempting her. “Okay. What do you want?” She braced herself for his outrageous answer. “Oh, it’s nothing. I’m sure you can give it to me.” She squared her shoulders, indicating him to proceed with his request. “Just a kiss,” the man said, his charcoal eyes became darker. She almost fell from her seat when she heard the man’s request. She looked at the man’s lips unconsciously then back to the book. For the first time in history, Li Nuxie wanted both. ================= This is an original story. I just changed the cover which is from Canva. I hope you like it. :) Thanks.
