The Azure Ghost of the Falling Leaf
Eighty years ago, the sky didn't turn red; it turned gold.
The Gilded Sun Orthodoxy led a coalition of "Righteous" clans to burn the Azure Pavilion to the ground, slaughtering every disciple and branding their legacy as a demonic plague. Among the fallen was Wei Zun, the Sentinel of the Northern Heavens, who died holding the mountain pass against ten thousand blades.
Now, the Ghost has returned—and he is very, very tired.
Wei Zun awakens in the frail, poison-riddled body of a discarded noble son in the Province of Falling Leaves. The world has forgotten the Azure Pavilion. His sacred techniques are now called "heresy," and the villains who murdered his family are now worshipped as living gods.
Armed with the forbidden Celestial Marrow Refinement and a tongue sharper than his blade, Wei Zun refuses to play the part of the tragic hero. He doesn't want the world’s forgiveness, and he certainly doesn't want to save it. He simply wants to rebuild his home, even if he has to do it using a ragtag group of "unfit" orphans and a front as a lowly courier service.
But the heavens are watching. As the silver in his eyes begins to glow and the first of the Nine Silences falls upon the land, the Gilded Sun begins to flicker.
The Sentinel is back. And this time, he isn't just guarding a gate—he’s coming to tear theirs down.
