Kidnapped by the Italian Mafia

Kidnapped by the Italian Mafia

Do you ever wonder what your life will be like when you cross paths with your arch nemesis? Yes? Well buckle up, it’s a wild ride. Katarina Montenegro is what everyone would simply call spoiled. She was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth and a custom Tiffany’s diamond tiara on her head. She was referred to as The Spanish Princess by everyone who knew of her existence, and she revelled in the nickname. She was young, cunning, and powerful. There was nothing Katarina wanted that she didn’t have. On the other hand, Marco DiBiancci was known by everyone as The Emperor Lynx, due to his ability to see through deception as easily as he could breathe. Unlike Katarina, who lived a mainly pampered life, Marco was raised by a strict father who wanted him to be in the front lines of the job since he was fourteen years old. He had spent his years getting his hands dirty and washing them again. He was young, strong, and powerful. There was nothing Marco wanted that he didn’t take for himself. The common ground? They were both set to inherit their father’s thrones as King and Queen of their respective organised crime kingdoms. The problem? Marco wanted Katarina, or more importantly, he wanted what she was set to lay claim on. Even though the two had never met, Marco was determined to get his hands on her by all means necessary, and that’s how we’re here. This is how I, Katarina Montenegro, was kidnapped by the Italian mafia. [WARNING: highly foul language and mature themes]

The Italian God

The Italian God

“I said,  go" I warn her. She scoffed and cursed in Russian under her breath. But made her way to the door. "It was nice meeting you" she addressed Maya who I think passed out. I walked to the pole and started untying her hands. I did it slowly so I wouldn't hurt her already bleeding fingers. She is going to be in a lot of pain tomorrow. I caught her before she fell and her face contracted in pain. My suit had blood on it as well, not that I cared. I carried her against my chest looking at her face. Her hair was a different kind of red. God I fucked up big time, she will definitely kill me. I walked with her in my arms out of the basement. "Oh god" I hear, I walked in to the living room. It was filled with Aria and some of her friends, also Enzo and Alessio, who was shaking his head at me when he saw Maya. "Who is she" I hear the girls whispering "Call the doctor" I tell them carrying her upstairs to my room. I sat at the corner of my room with a drink in my hand. With a clean fresh suit. I stared at her unmoving body on my bed, she looks so small on it. The doctor came and checked her body, she had bruised all over her body, a small concussion and her ribs were bruised. Veronica might have went over board this time. He cleaned her cuts and left a ton of medicine she has to take for the pain. He also attached a drip to her cause she was dehydrated. I cleaned her with wet towels and changed her filthy clothes. I was so thankful she didn't wake up, I didn't know how she would react to me seeing her naked. I noticed small cuts and scars on her upper thigh. She also had old ligature marks on her wrists. Something happened to her and I was going to find out what. I put her in one of my shirt and let her sleep. I had to chance into a new suit, my other one was covered in her blood. And I was meant to be at a party very soon. I had to make sure every gun and anything that can be used as a weapon was taking out of my room, I don't want her hurting anyone or me. And I know when she wakes up, she is going to want to kill me. I don't know what to do with her now and I couldn't let her go, she's seen too much. CIA agent Maya Reed is undercover in a mission In Italy, for the past 3 months. When her partner gets killed and all hell breaks loose. She gets kidnapped by the most power Mafia boss in Italy. She tries to escape still having faith that the Americans are looking for her. Not knowing they think she died. Lorenzo … Cold. Ruthless. Killer. I am respected and feared by all. I wasn’t put on this earth to love or be loved. I was put to be a killer, to be feared. When I find a strange girl in my club , killing two of my best costumers. I don’t let her live out of compassion. She’s a trinket, my plaything.

Define historic fiction
Historic fiction is a type of writing where the story takes place in a historical period. The author uses historical facts like the time period's social norms, political situations, and cultural aspects. However, the plot and characters can be fictional. In historic fiction, the writer aims to give readers an idea of what life was like in the past while also entertaining them with a made - up story. Like 'The Book Thief' which is set during World War II. It has fictional characters but gives a vivid picture of that historical era.

What is historic fiction or historical fiction?
Historical fiction is a genre of literature that combines fictional characters and events with historical settings. It often takes place in a specific time period in the past, like the Victorian era or World War II. Writers use real historical events as a backdrop and then create fictional stories and characters within that framework. For example, 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak is set during World War II and has a fictional story of a girl in Nazi Germany, but it also incorporates real historical elements like the bombing of Munich.

Would Macbeth be a historic fiction?
Yes. Macbeth is based on a historical figure but Shakespeare took many liberties with the story. So it can be considered a form of historic fiction.

What are the problems with historic fiction?
One problem with historic fiction is historical inaccuracy. Authors might misinterpret historical events, dates, or the culture of the time period for the sake of a good story. Another issue can be anachronisms. For example, using modern language or concepts in a historical setting which can break the illusion of the past. Also, there's the risk of romanticizing or distorting historical figures. They might be portrayed as more heroic or villainous than they actually were in real history.

Book Recommendations for Historic Fiction
I highly recommend 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak. It's a unique historic fiction as it's narrated by Death and set during World War II in Germany. 'A Tale of Two Cities' by Charles Dickens is also a wonderful choice. It gives a great picture of the French Revolution. And then there's 'Cold Mountain' which is about a Confederate soldier's journey home during the American Civil War.

What are the characteristics of historic erotic fiction?
One characteristic is that it can offer insights into the sexual attitudes and taboos of the past. By reading historic erotic fiction, we can see how different cultures and time periods dealt with sexual relationships. It may also use historical events or figures as a backdrop to the erotic elements. For example, a story set during the Renaissance might involve a love affair between two characters against the backdrop of political and cultural upheaval of that time. This adds an extra layer of complexity and interest to the erotic narrative.

What are the best historic fiction books?
One of the best is 'Wolf Hall' by Hilary Mantel. It offers a vivid portrayal of Thomas Cromwell's life during the Tudor period in England. The details of the court, the political intrigue, and the characters are masterfully depicted.
