In the Harry Potter series, Voldemort became a parasite on Professor Quirrell after losing his body. Professor Quirrell had been Harry's Defense Against the Dark Arts professor in his first year. He had graduated from Ravenclaw at Hogwarts and had previously taught Muggle Studies.
Professor Quirrell met Voldemort on a trip to Albania (Voldemort was living on small rats at the time) and was persuaded to become a member of the Dark Side and a servant of Voldemort. Voldemort later took refuge in Quirrell's body to better control him, hiding under the turban he wore. The Death of Professor Quirrell
