NAGISA
NAGISA
A light novel series
She walked into his flower shop to say thank you.
That was all it was supposed to be. A girl who had been pulled from the ocean five years ago, finally finding the boy who had pulled her out. Two sentences of gratitude. A polite bow. And then goodbye.
Except she didn't remember who she was. And he didn't know how to stop caring about that.
Nagisa is a slow-burn Japanese-style light novel about two people trying to find where someone belongs — and quietly, without meaning to, finding each other along the way. It has flower shops and river walks and letters written by hand and a fiancé nobody knew about and a memory that comes back at exactly the wrong time.
Nobody is a villain here. That's the thing. Everyone is just a person doing their best with what the world handed them. And sometimes that's the most painful kind of story there is.
Updates chapter by chapter as I write. This is my first proper long-form project so it's definitely a little rough in places — bear with me. I'm figuring it out as I go, and I genuinely appreciate every read. If it moves you even a little, that means everything.
Inspired by Japanese light novels and the kind of anime that makes you stare at the ceiling afterward.
