Jenny Twist was born in York and brought up in the West Yorkshire mill town of Heckmondwike, the eldest grandchild of a huge extended family. She left school at fifteen and went to work in an asbestos factory. After working in various jobs, including bacon-packer and escapologist’s assistant (she was The Lovely Tanya), she returned to full-time education and did a BA in history, at Manchester and post-graduate studies at Oxford. She stayed in Oxford working as a recruitment consultant for many years and it was there that she met and married her husband, Vic. In 2001 they retired and moved to Southern Spain where they live with their rather eccentric dogs and cat. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, knitting and attempting to do fiendishly difficult logic puzzles. In July 2018 she won the Author Show TOP FEMALE AUTHOR Fantasy/Horror/Paranormal/Science Fiction award. A novel based on the von Däniken theory that the gods were spacemen. Set in the prehistoric Mesolithic age with the goddess Athena as a young girl and Prometheus, a young cave-dweller, as the main protagonists. The boy watched the star fall. [IM] was short for a deadly virus called Imitation Mutation that killed off 80% of the world's population in 2038 during the first few weeks. When the outbreak of the virus happened, countries border closed, safe zones and quarantine areas were established but they still couldn't manage to curb the virus. The virus [IM] was able to completely mutate and take control over a human's body. Turning them cannibalistic and brain dead along with making humans into monsters with insane strengths and powers that were created from the host's fears. These monsters were called mutates. However, the possibilities of [IM] mutating a human was 35%, which is a lower percentage of humans dying a few hours after contracting the disease. 0.4% of mutates can turn out to be a special case where the hosts still have complete control of themselves even after receiving the effects of the mutation. Zephyr was a special case of mutates that was being kept as a prisoner along with many others. To protect himself, he hid himself away in the void, hopelessly waiting for the day to break free. Finding himself a new 'home' to stay in, he attempts to neglect his past and fixate on the present. However, it seems like fate bears a strong hatred for Zephyr. Revenge, disgust and death followed him wherever he went.

She brought harmony and healing, soothing the hearts of those in turmoil and restoring balance to the land. • Pyra, the Phoenix of Rebirth, burned with an eternal flame, his fiery plumage a beacon of renewal and transformation. From the ashes of destruction, he rose again and again, a testament to the power of resilience and the promise of a new beginning. These five were the Pentad of Protectors, united by their mission to defend the world from the forces of darkness. Their greatest challenge came in the form of the Shadow Flock, a sinister group intent on plunging the realms into chaos and despair. The Celestial Birds fought valiantly, but the battle was fierce and unforgiving. One by one, they fell, their spirits lingering in the hopes that one day, successors would rise to continue their legacy. The world was left vulnerable, waiting for the day when the Celestial Birds would return to restore peace and order.
