La historia se desarrolla en un mundo en el que una población es asediada y experimenta un ataque desconocido de fuerzas del extranjero que obliga a los pobladores a proteger su hogar. La trama gira en torno a "Harlan2 quien después de aprender algo de su propósito busca respuestas y del gran peso que le entregaron, el objetivo es aprender quien es él. Más adelante descubre que su vida y de las personas en este mundo es insignificante frente a lo que se avecina entre más descubra comprenderá que es el “Destino” y de los sacrificios de esa información, lo que desencadenará toda una serie de acontecimientos.
