My Death Sentence

My Death Sentence

Ravaged and desolate, the Old World perished beneath the polluted sky. Radiation and infestation plagued the Earth all while a mere fraction of the human population remained. Of that rapidly diminishing population, a man approaching his thirties found himself entangled with Earth's current "War Lords" -- a pathetic bunch of insecure men who dominate what remains of the blue planet. Thrown into one of the prisons, Cain is ruthlessly prodded and experimented on. Subjected to radiation, gene altercation, and given various poisons and toxins alongside a slew of potential antidotes to match -- Cain became the War Lord’s guinea pig. Only after satisfying their voracious greed for revenge did the War Lord’s finally grant Cain some semblance of mercy. Strapped to a metal chair with a thick steel collar hung around his throat, Cain prepared himself for death. While his body slowly melted underneath the heat of one of the War Lord’s new experimental serums, an unfamiliar women’s voice called out to Cain. Summoned by a random girl in another world, she calls Cain a demon. “Demon?” Cain questions. But then it hits him — he’s been reborn and summoned. It’s a two-for-one special! *** Follow along Cain's rebirth and his unfortunate summoning into another world filled with trials, tribulations, and tragedy all composed by yours truly, thelostboy. Side note: I've tried this writing thing before and it's a lot more taxing than I was expecting. Rather than continue my old story that I fell out of love with, I figured it would be all-around more enjoyable for myself and my readers to create something I'm newly passionate about than return to shallow waters. Also also, once I get into a writing rhythm again I plan on creating a Patreon for early access chapters, I've decided not to Contract this novel for the more respectable, mature approach -- begging. May we pray I write something good.

Her Comeback Was His Sentence.

Her Comeback Was His Sentence.

After three years of marriage, Evelyn finally got pregnant. She thought it would be the happiest day of her life until her own husband’s hands pushed into hell her. Evelyn went to the company to inform Alain about her pregnancy, only to be met with the sight of him having sex with his secretary. Alain had betrayed her. “Let’s get a divorce,” he said, the three years of affection crushed like worthless paper. He showed no shame as he continued his affair right in front of her, under the guise of nakedness. “Fine,” Evelyn agreed. She looked proud and aloof. She swallowed the news of her pregnancy, holding it tight in her throat without uttering a word. But as she turned away, she burst into tears. She returned home, prepared the divorce papers, signed them, packed her belongings, and left. But on the way, Evelyn fainted because of her foetal derangement. A kind man took her to the hospital and left her with a beautiful wish. Other than that, she knew nothing about him. Five years later, Evelyn had a successful career and a peaceful life with her young son - Dennis. But one day, her son brought a strange man home, none other than Alain! Evelyn was stunned. Her ex-husband had returned, shamelessly begging her for forgiveness, wanting to regain her and Dennis. He wanted her to come back to him. But Evelyn didn’t agree. Despite Alain’s coercion, she refused. And at that moment, “he” suddenly appeared, unexpectedly and silently as he did five years ago. He pulled her up from the depths and slapped her ex-husband directly in the face with one sentence: “You’re not worthy of her.” ... Umee: Hi there! First of all, thank you for the interest and for the enthusiasm. Truly. Every time I open my comments and see new invitations to add Discord, buy promotion packages, commission comic adaptations, or “have a quick chat,” I’m reminded that my story has somehow wandered into a very busy marketplace. That said, I should probably set expectations gently before anyone invests too much energy. I’m not looking for promotion services, paid advertising or commissioned artwork. Not because they’re bad ideas, just because they’re not ideas I currently need. I don’t have the budget, the urgency or the illusion that my story is secretly one step away from becoming the next global phenomenon. I’m very aware of where my work stands. It’s doing okay. Respectably okay. Not “adapt-everything-immediately” okay. My passion for writing exists but it hasn’t reached the stage where common sense quietly exits the room. I promise I’m not underestimating myself, I’m simply being realistic, which is a personality trait I’ve grown quite attached to. Another small but important thing: I’m not really interested in chatting, exchanging ideas, networking, or building creative alliances in private messages. I write best when left alone. I think best when no one is pitching anything to me. And I function best when my inbox is not screaming for attention. So if I don’t reply, please know it’s not personal, it’s just me choosing silence over small talk. That being said, if you’re genuinely curious about me rather than what I can potentially become or produce, if you want to see my everyday life, random thoughts, quiet moments and the unmarketable parts of my existence, I do have my Instagram linked in my bio. You’re welcome to follow it. No proposals required. No introductions needed. Just observation, at your own pace. I truly wish you the best with your creative work, your art, your promotions, and your ambitions. Creating something and trying to get it seen is hard, I respect that deeply. I just prefer to walk my path slowly, quietly, and without turning every interaction into a business opportunity. Thank you for understanding, for stopping by, and for letting me return peacefully to my writing corner, where the only thing I’m selling is words.

What is called neurotic
Nervousness was not a standard clinical name. It was currently called neurotic disorder, which mainly included anxiety disorder, phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and somatological disorder. It was a basic personality trait in psychology. It could also refer to a person's nervousness and impulsive temperament. It was mainly reflected in emotional instability, a persistent tendency to experience negative emotional states. Nervous people were more likely to experience emotions such as anxiety, anger, guilt, and depression than the average person. This type of person also had some other characteristics, such as introversion, shyness, inability to cope well with unknown changes in the environment, sometimes seeing normal situations as threats, encountering small setbacks, and being unable to control their impulses. When faced with psychological difficulties, they would feel strongly uneasy and easily mistake normal uneasiness and discomfort as abnormal. They would also pay close attention to these " morbid or abnormal " symptoms. When they tried to eliminate them, they would aggravate the symptoms and fall into a vicious cycle, causing them to feel very painful. " Shen Mingri " is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to click and read it!

The heroine is very strong, very funny, and neurotic.
He recommended a few novels. " The Moldy Girl Turns Over " was a modern romance urban novel written by Meng Ruofeng. The female lead was born unlucky, but she gained love and solved a big case. Although it was a female channel, the opening was very funny. The author wrote this book to correct the misleading aspects of film and television and the Internet. Although the updates were intermittent, it was still worth supporting. " If You Like to Make Trouble " was an urban novel written by Peisen. The style of the novel was strange, and the protagonist had a comeback. There were sharp comments, driving scenes, and cute roommates. It was easy to make a joke, and the character creation was not bad. However, the quality of the later parts declined, and those who liked to cause trouble were worth watching. " Villains Have Special Techniques for Courting Death " was a sci-fi novel by Kitty Meow. The female protagonist's martial strength was off the charts. It was a 1v1 system. The story was not bad. The author was often in the book review section. There were some plot jumps, but it was very harmonious. " Rise of the Elves 'Darkness ", a light novel written by Hibiscus. The main character was reborn as a member of the Rocket Team. There was no female protagonist, Dark Wind. The main character and the elven bond were well portrayed. Although there were some shortcomings, the overall picture was good. The update was very powerful. " Quick wear: The Way of Scumbags ", a sci-fi fast wear novel written by eating a mouthful of Tang Sanzang's meat. The female protagonist had no moral integrity and no limits. In order to complete the mission, she disguised herself in all kinds of ways. It was a story about a scumbag. There were thunder points in the middle that could be skipped. The ending was quite touching. Read more exciting novels for free

A harem novel with a sickly, delicate, and neurotic female lead
I recommend a few ancient romance novels. "Shocking! This Concubine Is Actually ", created by Mu Huaiqing, an ancient romance-palace fighting genre. Although it was a palace fight, exploring the embryonic form of feminism and self-awareness was like a true food entertainment bedtime story. If a reader was poisoned, the author had to add more. The two male leads 'writing style was a little stiff like Legend of Zhen Huan in the early stages, but it was natural in the later stages. The plot was good, the supporting characters were smart, and the title was mediocre but the content was wonderful. This Emperor Can Read Mind, an ancient romance novel written by Eunice. The female protagonist worked as a healer in the harem, and the emperor could read minds. The story was interesting. 'The Foppish Princess: The Sick Prince Spoils His Wife' was a cute creation by Xiao Xiao. The female protagonist is the daughter of the prime minister. When she was married, she met with an accident. She fought against the scum man and the cheap woman and continued her former relationship with the prince. "Legend of the Crazy Concubine", Jin Wucai's work, ancient romance-classical fiction. The female lead was wearing a soul suit. The words were capable, the rhythm was compact, and the characters were well drawn. However, there were also some areas that made people dissatisfied. There was also the sci-fi space-time travel genre,"The Soul of the Otaku and the Queen of Scheming," which was written without any moral integrity. In the early stages, the writing style was joyful and creative, but in the later stages, the protagonist became a scumbag. The female lead was a scheming bitch. The story was creative but more picky with readers. Read more exciting novels for free

The main character's neurotic doomsday novel recommendation
I recommend " Restarting the Apocalypse ", a science fiction novel written by Gu Xi. The world in this book was very contradictory. Living was like dying, having everything but nothing. The main character, Lin Chao, had a wonderful story. Character Drawing Stick, many types of abilities. This was Gu Xi's representative work. He was an experienced writer of the apocalypse. His writing style was experienced, and the story was neither saintly nor stupid. Many people praised it after reading it. It was considered top-notch among apocalyptic novels. There was nothing wrong with the logic, the plot was wonderful, and the setting was superb. It was a masterpiece that had been completed. Sci-fi fans and apocalyptic fans should not miss it. The recommendation index was nine stars! There was also 'Wasteland', a sci-fi post-apocalyptic novel written by the Dark Sky Devil. It was a story about how one could become stronger without cowering in the face of a virus. The main character was Lin Xiang. This book was highly innovative and was the first work of the Wasteland School. Although the author was criticized for his writing style and emotional intelligence, the plot was clear and foreshadowing. The apocalyptic feeling in the book was very real. The struggle of humans was written very well, but the content was bloody and dark. The three views of the world were a little crooked, and it even touched the red line of online novels. However, if you like dark novels about the apocalypse, this book is worth reading. 'Doomsday Survival Master' was not bad either. It was written by Taiping Steamed Bun. Before the protagonist Qin Mu was reborn into the apocalypse, he didn't want to be a savior. He only wanted to save his family. This book had a tight rhythm and had the thrill of a horror novel. The protagonist had a pleasant personality and was not the kind of perverted man who would pounce on any woman he saw. It was a pity that the author might have lost his life due to the pressure of life, but he could still read the books that were out of stock. After all, the world view was huge and the plot was novel. It was a novel that would make people's eyes light up. Finally, I recommend " The Poison Saint of the End of the World ", which was written in a cute way. The main character was a six-year-old boy who had been reborn three days before the apocalypse. He was decisive in killing and had no regard for life. The setting of this book was novel. It was a story about playing with pets during the apocalypse. The main character also had the power of light and darkness. Although the author's updates were slow and the book was a little messy, those who liked voodoo settings could fall for it. Read more exciting novels for free
