delirium book

In lands torn by endless strife, An alien treads through shattered life. Five nations clash, their banners torn, As war’s cruel hand leaves hearts forlorn. The skies are dark, the earth does weep, As souls are lost and dreams asleep. Ambition's fire in few hearts burns, While many fall, for naught they yearn. Tragedy rides the winds of war, Suffering knocks at every door. With every battle, hope grows thin, As death claims all, none left to win. The cries of pain, the echo’s roar, Fade into silence evermore. The world, once bright with stars untold, Now fades to nothing—black and cold.

Near the city of Hobo, in a mystical land called Alion, Enzo Drax, a null, meets Flora Bradley, a woman unaware of her true heritage. Both betrayed by the secrets they keep from each other. Fate spells out its plot for both lovers. A sequel of short paranormal, fantasy romance of approximately 12000 words in length. The Page length varies due to reader’s settings. But please, understand this is a short story and not a novel. Short stories are the mini candy bars of fiction; little sweet nothings that melt too fast. That’s why you can never stop at just one!

The world of astral delirium is chaotic, greedy and above all else ruled by powerful. In this world a war is but a mere daily event. Conflicts between races, empires and ruling authorities are daily events. Unfold the mysteries and chaos of this world and the story of a boy named Kaito Mizuki.

Darkness falls. Mankind tries to survive the wasteland that was once society. Demons terrorize the living and one man must face the demons, internally and externally.

A girl lies dying at the bottom of a well. Paralyzed and delirious, lost inside the labyrinth of her mind. She he clings to her memories (some near and dear, some half-remembered, some buried, and some unreal). As death draws near, her consciousness circles a single truth: Someone wanted her dead. And it could only have been family. Her mind searches aimlessly through these relived memories, at times vengeful and wanting to "expose" her unknown would-be killer, other times locked in a desperate, paralyzing grief. She tries - in her own childish, broken way - to assign each of them a "motive". To make sense of her undoing. Perhaps, to feel like she earned this fate. This will force her to discover truths she never wanted to face about herself, her family, and her place in the world. Set in an isolated farm in rural America in the late 60s, this is a story about gothic mystery, surreal and disturbing imagery, dream-like unreliable narration, and honest exploration of childhood abuse and toxic family dynamics (where the abuser's logic and rules function in the narrative like living myth).

Fu Xiaoxiao transmigrates into a book and immediately faces the crisis of being sent to the countryside. As the unloved middle child, her younger sister is the one meant to go — but her mother transfers her job to the sister instead. A disaster of a start. To avoid being sent away, she has to marry within seven days. She meets a few ordinary men and decides she'd rather go to the countryside. Then she runs into a neighbor who's also looking for a spouse — and his conditions are surprisingly good. A dowry of three hundred? Bicycles and a radio? Just take care of the kids, and separate rooms are fine? The others may pass, but she won't. Every day is a battle of wits with the two kids. Life is eventful, she gets a salary every month, and the boss is never home. Absolutely perfect. Except... wasn't this big shot supposed to be infertile? Then why does he keep strutting around naked in front of her? She has professional ethics. She won't be seduced by a good body. Hmph. Men only slow down her sword swing. Lu Feng grits his teeth at Fu Xiaoxiao, who remains completely unmoved by his countless attempts to seduce her, and traps her in his arms. "Boss, let's talk this through. I know forty a month is a bit much — how about... five less?" Trapped in his embrace, Fu Xiaoxiao thinks he's unhappy with her high salary and starts bargaining. "I'm giving myself to you for free." Lu Feng grinds out through clenched teeth. This woman has no heart. "...Can I say no?" Fu Xiaoxiao swallows, staring at the washboard abs so close. "Such a good deal — are you sure you don't want it?" Lu Feng squints, tempting her. "Fine." A fool turns down a bargain.
