What a Cliche adventure

What a Cliche adventure

Have you ever woken up from being black out drunk and then find out God is talking to you? No? What about finding out that God wants you to go to another world? No to that too, huh? Well looks like I'm destined to be an isekai protagonist. May as well have fun with it right? Save the world, rule the world, conquer the world? Who cares, I just wanna have fun seeing what cliches I can find --------------------------------------------- Hey, person writing this here. Now this is not my first story that I have written but it is so far the one I am enjoying the most and have made the most progress on so bear with me if there are any mistakes or inconsistencies, just leave a comment or something and I will try to fix it. Also my style of writing this story is I am extremely open to suggestions, naturally I won't take all of them, but if there is a good one then I will by all means listen to it since I am not a perfect writer. Plus the more people interact with me the more I am willing to write! Please note as well that generally my chapters are long so I will try to aim for 1 week intervals for releases, if people want me to release more chapters but just split the large ones into segments just so that it's once a day or something like that then I can give it a shot. Thanks for taking a look, hope you like it ---------------------------------------------- Also please note I am not good at drawing hence the artwork being minimal(Aka a stock photo from the web. It's legal, I checked.) and the title is still up for debate since I'm not good at coming up with titles. So like usual, good suggestions appreciated.

What are the characteristics of a cliche novel?
A cliche novel often has predictable plots. For example, the love - at - first - sight scenario where the two main characters meet and instantly fall in love without much development. Also, it may use overused character types like the damsel in distress or the brooding hero. The settings can be very common too, like a small idyllic town or a big, bustling city with all the typical elements.

Is 'love is cliche novel' a common statement in literary criticism?
In a sense, yes. When we look at the vast number of novels out there, love is a very popular theme. Novels often use love as a driving force for the plot, whether it's romantic love, love between family members or love for a cause. But because it's used so frequently, the way it's presented can sometimes come across as cliched. Some novels might rely too much on the typical tropes associated with love, like the instant attraction between the two main characters, which has been done countless times before.

What are some cliche ways to start a fantasy novel?
A common cliche to start a fantasy novel is with a dream sequence. The protagonist might be dreaming of a far - off, magical place or an impending danger, like 'Aria dreamed of a floating castle in the sky, surrounded by dark clouds that seemed to be alive. She could feel the danger lurking within those clouds, even in her sleep.' Also, starting with a discovery of a strange object can be a cliche. 'Luna found a small, glowing orb in the attic of her old house. As she picked it up, a shiver ran down her spine, and she knew her life was about to change forever.' Beginning with a dark, stormy night where something mysterious is about to happen is another. 'On that dark, stormy night, as the wind howled through the trees, a figure emerged from the mist at the edge of the forest.'
